So how is everything finding it so far this week with our new freedoms ?
We went for a couple of drinks Monday evening. The pub wasn’t too busy, tables were socially distanced and staff served to the table.
Last night we spontaneously decided to eat out instead of cooking as we had some exciting news to celebrate. Was so nice just to be able to jump in the car and pick a restaurant again.
We are eating out again tonight with a couple of friends and planning a mini night out on Saturday too

My wife and i were talking about this and we aren't in a rush to eat / drink out. It is nice to have the option and to go and do this on a special occasion but it is unlikely to be regular again. We are out with friends on Saturday but it is a take away at home. |

I've not done any differently yet, though with reduced capacity, it's likely helping those most in need to get the tables they want.
I would have preferred a slight delay in the last relaxation, to validate that we were safely ready. |

i'm impressed that you managed to get a spontaneous table for dinner on day 2 , our restaurants have been open indoors without alcohol for over a month and ive only been for one meal because i an rubbish at being organised in advance with plans and. bookings but you have to be at the moment as everything is fully booked pretty much all the time |

Actually I thought everywhere might be rammed but both days it’s been relatively quiet. Our restaurant tonight we changed the table size and they said it was no problem as it isn’t too busy. I was surprised myself |

Hasn't impacted us per se. Stayed in. No desire/compelling need to rush out. Did some Amazon shopping. Never going back to the high st ever again. Saved tons over the last year.
Realised how much crap we purchased beforehand on transient things that afford fleeting moments of joy, but have little long-term succour in the end.

Did many venture out last night ? Being Saturday night it was totally different to earlier in the week. Busy in most places we found. 4 nights out this week we’ve had. Great to be back |

hiding from cock pics. |
I popped out Thursday for a pizza, one way system in the restaurant, everything socially distanced.
I would estimate three quarters of the tables were occupied, everything was within in the legal guidelines.
From what I've heard from friends working in the hospitality industry, places are quieter than anticipated. |
