Such as?"Antibody Dependent Enhancement was the initial concern I saw raised. Obviously the connection with blood clotting is still poorly understood. The latest research I saw highlighted the role of the spike protein in causing these inflammatory/clotting issues because of it's affinity for multiple tissue and organ sites, and there is now apparently some speculation about the wisdom of turning our own bodies into spike protein manufacturing sites. I watch with interest. I have read of concerns over the long term oxidising/toxic effect of lipid delivery systems too - not looked into that in any depth, nor the concerns over fertility issues. | |||

"I don't know which things you're referring to, as you didn't specify them. Certainly concerns and risks are important. We are currently just over a year into a period of human scientific research that's possibly 1 of the most substantial in our long history. For this reason we start from an incredibly rich foundation, in order to increase our understanding of this virus and the damage it inflicts. As well as this enormous level of credible research evidence, there's also been a huge cesspit of bilge and dangerous filth, much of it funded by foreign states such as Russia, which stand to gain from the harms it causes. Millions of people are easily pulled in by the allure of 'secrets', dodgy goings on, easy cures etc, especially when we have all become more fearful of what's going on. Many millions of dangerous messages have been loaded onto social media platforms etc. There will be decent people sharing good things too but they are dwarfed by the others. In short, we are best to turn our attention to credible scientific research evidence that's published in the reputable literature. It won't be someone like me, using my Dr. credentials, posing 'theories' that aren't in the appropriate environments and haven't been subject to peer review. Every man and his dog could throw out stuff that alarms others and this is why the scientific method is so invaluable, when supported by the established systems and processes in place. | |||

For this reason we start from an incredibly rich foundation, in order to increase our understanding of this virus and the damage it inflicts. As well as this enormous level of credible research evidence, there's also been a huge cesspit of bilge and dangerous filth, much of it funded by foreign states such as Russia, which stand to gain from the harms it causes. Millions of people are easily pulled in by the allure of 'secrets', dodgy goings on, easy cures etc, especially when we have all become more fearful of what's going on. Many millions of dangerous messages have been loaded onto social media platforms etc. There will be decent people sharing good things too but they are dwarfed by the others.
In short, we are best to turn our attention to credible scientific research evidence that's published in the reputable literature. It won't be someone like me, using my Dr. credentials, posing 'theories' that aren't in the appropriate environments and haven't been subject to peer review. Every man and his dog could throw out stuff that alarms others and this is why the scientific method is so invaluable, when supported by the established systems and processes in place. Thank goodness that a lot of social media banned the BS and highly dangerous posts that the gullible, short on rational thinking and the merciless, including other counties acting as enemies, from being posted and hosted on their sites. Fab ought to have formed a similar policy imo.

If people don't want to accept what their government is telling them about something that is a global scientific phenomenon, then they are blessed with huge volumes of credible evidence, from reputable sources other than their government.
The concept that some have of a giant make-believe conspiracy doesn't do justice to the millions of people affected by this, as well as thousands of highly educated people who have been working in the most dedicated fashion, to improve life chances for us. It's reasonable to assume that a government will not always tell the truth, they have form for it, as well as reasons that they may believe may be in our greater interest. There are corrupt actors amongst them too. But we certainly need to apply some basic rational thinking on other inappropriate ideas that get floated by some.

Also if you're gonna make a biological weapon you'd want it to be effective on the majority of the population, not just the sick and the elderly in care homes and hospitals." True. If I wanted to make a bioligical weapon to wipe out a certain nation I'd probably want it to kill the young and middle aged or those of an age to take up arms, not frail or elderly. I'd also think it best to have one that couldn't transmit to my nation or group or at least have a vaccine.
