Random question here. Myself and the wife have to travel to Oxford this Saturday, are we allowed to book a hotel and stay over? Not been keeping upto date with covid lifting rules of late.

Not until Monday unless it’s for work purposes.

You can book self catering places though.

That's great, appreciated. It looks like we can as part of the same household with the facilities as listed provided by the accomodator. A little doubt still as it reads as something like an Airbnb and not hotel, hmmmm!

Whitley Bay

Yes.. As long as you have your own bathroom.

I stayed in Wales recently. They had outdoor dining and breakfast brought to the room.

I think it's the same in England since Aoril.. As long as its self contained with your family/bubble.

I think your safest option is an air bnb, hotels will take your booking but then not give you a room on the day. Even if you can prove you live in the same household alot will stay want the reason for your stay there.

Enjoy your trip and have a safe return home xx

Kirkby

I’ve been to Bristol (from Liverpool) and stayed in a hotel for 3 nights. You should have no problem.
