I've been wearing masks now every working day for about 9 hours at a time inc public transport travel.. ive also been working outside a look
I've lost a lot of feeling in my ears or they always feel freezing even on a hot day when rest of skin is hot
is the mask cutting off blood circulation to my ears?
can't wait to not have to wear them

If it's too tight, then it could be, but if so, just using one that isn't as tight would seem like the logical solution there. |

"Has anyone got any Factual proof that the muzzles that most of the public have got are a scrap of good ?
Lots if you are bothered to look...." Ok then tell us where too look , actual proof studies of the masks worn by the vast majority ,not the ones worn by Hospital staff doctors |

Given your blatant agenda, it seems like a waste of anyone's time trying to help educate you. |

If you have the BBC news app, go to the Long Reads. Then go to this article : The rise of India’s ‘Covid Quack’. Under the section called ‘A gift for publicity’ and in the second paragraph of that section, press the bold underlined wording ‘overwhelming evidence’ - this will take you to a scientific paper. Alternatively you could go to the PNAS website and look up ‘An evidence review of face masks against Covid-19’ to get to the same paper. |

First acedemic study I found. They recommend all government officials encourage wide spread high compliance of mask wearing.
In the interest of science has anyone found an academic study saying masks are no good and to stop using them?
For balance of course |

Use a mask adjuster/spacer thing (no idea what they're called) ... they're a knitted band with two buttons which the ear pieces go around instead of your ears! They're brilliant and save the ear pressure/pain ... can send you a photo of mine if easier? |

Tell you what.
I'll put you standing in a room with two or three covid positive people and give you the option to stand in there with them.
You can choose if you want to wear a mask or not. |

Thats not the point of the mask though tbf and never was
In that hypothetical the people with covid should be wearing the masks |

People who have covid19 need oxygen and a basic masks stops you from wanting more oxygen that you already need but saves your life and protects others Incase you might have symptoms of covid19 |

Have you tried wearing a neckie OP. I wear a merino wool one so it’s soft and comfortable. It keeps my neck warm stepping outdoors, looks cool like a polo neck, and simple to just pull up over my nose. |

Perhaps we should ask the neurosurgeons who wear surgical masks for operations that can last over 12hrs and see if their ears have fallen off? The short answer is no, masks will not damage your ears. They do not cut off your oxygen supply (otherwise we'd have a lot of dead/sick medical professionals who have always worn them). Etc. |

If you dnt want to wear one don't. As far as factual proof for me I've not had a single cough or cold in over a year someone susceptible to chest problems so for me thats my factual proof. Your face . Your health . Your choice. Just dnt come crying when you or a loved one needs ventilating. Simple facts really. Don't you think |

Not sure what you are looking for as far as 'actual proof' is concerned. You seem to be spoiling for a fight rather than asking for information or advice!
I'm okay with that.. This situation makes us all act in queer ways sometimes
I suggest you try to think about it like this.
For my part I wear a mask to protect other people not myself!
Obviously protect from Covid or other airborne particle stuff that may make me ill. It may and it may not and that's not the point.
Mainly I wear it to reassure other people they can feel safe around me. Have you seen the look of panic on old persons face when they see someone near them without a mask?
Have you seen a young child with autism panic in front of you because they can't work out why someone is bit following the rules? They find it really difficult and some so much so that they physically vomit through nerves and anxiety attacks.. This is true.. And no I'm not going to provide you any evidence. Try researching it.
Finally I wear a mask to go shopping etc because I respect people who spend 12 hours a day wearing one in extreme discomfort and other ppe whilst trying to save people's lives at the same time.
Naturally I regard it as a duty and think people who won't do that one little thing ( unless they physically or for another genuine reason can't ) as selfish tossers and have said it to quite a few idiots when out and about recently. But that's just me of course!
The 'science bit' is pretty well explained here. Happy reading.
