Don't knock "microwaved rubbish"... most of what I "cook" at home is microwaved rubbish.

None. Stayed in. No compelling need to go out and be around the masses also doing the same thing.
Happy to wait and see what the infection numbers do.
Managed 13 months already, so a few more isn't that difficult for us at least. |

I'm going to a pub friday lunchtime with one of daughters and ate at a garden center on monday! Food gets cold quickly though! Was never one to go pubs b 4 lockdowns though! Only on my cycles out in countryside and didnt have to book obviously! My 21 year old daughter been making most of it though been a long year for our youngsters! She had her 21st in lockdown last june 21st! So hopefully on anniversary of it she can go out and celebrate properly on her 22nd this year! x |

Nothing different, gone nowhere and only seen family.. No other meetings etc other than working as usual. Same as its been now for just over a year.
Will be a bit longer before that changes I'd say. |

Had a toddle around and the Primart here was pretty mad and the Beer prices are out of our league here and so sticking with Aldi's or Lidl's offerings as steadfastly refuse to pay £2.85 for a pint of fosters at the cheap end or over a £5 a pint for something drinkable ...... |

After so many restrictions and lockdowns, tiers etc. over the last 13 or so months I think a lot of people will struggle to re-adjust back to a degree of normality.
Admittedly not everyone will struggle but some people are struggling - you just have to see their behaviour. A person in front of me (approx 60yrs old) in an M&S Food Hall was at the till and sanitised their hands no less than 6 separate times and used 2 antibacterial wipes during the purchase of 6 or 7 items.
Everyone is different and everyone's experiences/impacts from covid are different too but I do think we have to try and unlock and get at least some form of normal life... know some may disagree but just my opinion. Plus the country just cannot financially afford to keep locked down paying furlough and support grants to businesses indefinitely. |
