I had my second AZ jab last Monday. I felt awful the day after, just like with the first one, but I didn't have a sore arm this time round Just grateful to have had them done x |

I had my 2nd Pfizer a week and a bit ago. I won't lie, it knocked me on my arse for a day. Nausea, lethargy etc. Still better than getting Covid!
Purely anecdotal but I have noticed that colleagues who were fine the first time were more likely to be wiped out the second jab. Colleagues who got knocked out by the first were OK with the second. All my colleagues who've had a positive (even if asymptomatic) test fall in the latter group.
It's not a huge leap to say that if your immune response is primed (by having had Covid or having the 1st vaccine) then the second exposure will potentially batter you for 24 hours. But I have no evidence. Like I say, it's anecdotal. |

I've had my first AZ jab, and had flu like symptoms the day after. Then fine after that. I'll be getting my 2nd jab in a few weeks.
Anecdotally, based on friend's experiences, the AZ first jab gives you symptoms, the second doesn't. With Pfizer it's the other way around.
I'll be interested in hearing people's experiences on here.
But regardless, get the second jab of whatever type. |

After the first jab all I felt was a slightly sore arm but not bad enough to have any real effect.
I had the second yesterday lunchtime. Arm is about the same and I slept 10 straight hours last night (unusual for me, usually 6-7hrs) and I feel a bit fuzzy headed now. |

A 2end jab ?
Is that another term for "spitroast" ?
Sorry but couldn't resist |

We've both had ours... Michael had the Oxford and had a headache then gastro symptoms for around 24-48 hours. I had the Pfizer and I had a fuzzy head and a painful swelling in my armpit for around 48 hours. All fine now xx |

"I had 2nd Pfizer last friday (good frday) nothing after 1st, sore arm.
But this last 8 days I've felt absolutly shattered! Might be unrelated though "
2nd one floored me too. I was shattered and slept better than I have in ages. No illness though |

Had 2x Pfizer vaccine dose. A bit of a sore arm and feverish the day after of 1st dose but very little soreness after 2nd dose and possibly mild lethargic the day which resolved relatively quick. |

1st Pfizer dose - fatigue, headache, slept like a baby and felt out of sorts for 24-36 hrs; 2nd dose - just an incredibly painful arm; no fatigue at all |

Tis odd. I had Covid in early April 2020 and had antibodies in September 2020 at least. Had my Pfizer vaccine on 26th February but only a sore arm, nothing else. Bracing myself for side effects second time round, but wondering if my immune system is buggered?! |
