If there's a vaccine passport and those who haven't been vaccinated not allowed in, then kids won't be allowed in ... what a shame!
Oh if they are allowed in, why are they tested in schools? Think about it ... |

Are you thinking people should be tested to go to pubs? |

"OP why do you think they are tested in schools, along with the adults of the school and the parents ?
to stop the spread ..."
So no different than the adults that go through testing daily/bi weekly, who aren’t connected to the education system. |

If you are correct OP I don’t think the hospitality industry will be worried that children can’t go sit outside a pub come 18th April, more likely the millions of adults that haven’t been offered it as yet who they need to get their businesses going again. |

I fully agree and failing that one from eBay/wish/Ali express should do the trick for a couple of pounds anyway. |

No but not being able to do anything including work..is just Boris's way of making it mandatory! |

I'm sure the unvaccinated will still be allowed to work.
Unless, perhaps, they work in healthcare or care of the vulnerable. |

Yes but people in their 20s won't be offered the jab til July so will they be banned from pubs til then ?"
Its all speculation but as at first pubs will only be operating outside plus you are currently only allowed up to 6 people from 2 households getting together but keeping a 2 metre distance, if everyone follows the rules I would think they would be allowed in. |

I can imagine either exemptions for the not yet vaccinated, or social distancing until everyone or all adults are offered vaccines. |

I'm don't think the whole 'vaccine passport' thing will materialise, but I'm all for keeping the little blighters away from pubs.

I'm almost certain it will.
Lots of companies particularly travel companies have already stated they will require proof of vaccine so I think it will be available but not mandatory. |

I'm 50-50 on whether it'll actually happen.
I think it'll be unpopular among a large minority of the population, but I think insurers/liability will be a massive factor, too. |

Imagine... wondering in a pub, having a pint with out the sound of kids screaming there heads off. Be almost like what pubs used to be
Though the pubs will suffer from price realisation... getting 12 cans for a tenner compared to one pint for 4 quid ouch!! |

Its already happening that some businesses have made it clear you will need proof of vaccine.
It doesn't matter whether the government says its mandatory if businesses are going to require it therefore something needs to be available for people. |

Unworkable, remains to be seen.

Absolutely and people forget this discrimination happens all the time.
For example someone who is blind cant have a driving licence and thats it more than reasonable. |

I'm not sure they will get past a vote, plus the cross party group of MPs who are vocally objecting to "covid vaccines" have already prepared a legal challenge on grounds of discrimination.

I don't see the issue with having a vaccine passport.
Some places will require it, some won't.
100% there are companies that have said they will require proof of vaccine so something has to be easily available, doesn't mean it has to be mandatory. |

Exactly!
A lot of the people that don't the vaccine but don't want to be excluded from places were the same people saying that the elderly and vaunable should be shut away for An indefinite amount of time through something they had no choice over.
Yes of course people have a choice whether or not to take a vaccine and i respect that choice, however others have a choice to not allow them access to certain events and premises.

I've been told that as a wheelchair user, I shouldn't expect to be able to do the same as others. That if buildings are inaccessible, I should just accept it. That if I'm left on the train platform because they can't be arsed getting the ramp out, that's okay. That if the pavement is blocked by parked cars, I should simply sit and wait or turn back.
Very few able bodied people notice or care about accessibility for disabled people and yes, it is somewhat ironic that many of those people are now getting their knickers in a twist because they might not be able to go to a concert or to the pub. I can't get into a number of theatres or pubs due to the steps and lack of accessible entrance and no-one gives a shit.
I've had my vaccine so it's taking a lot for me not to feel a smug sense of satisfaction, to be honest.
It's not nice to be discriminated against, is it?! Welcome to our world, everyone! |

Welcome to our world, everyone!"
Exactly!
I would like to think people have started to realise how difficult our world is to navigate for many but sadly they don't.
On the London tube I find it quite sad that there are signs everywhere saying please remember not everybody is able to move as fast as you please be considerate and patient! I'm glad to see the world is waking up but it is sad that we need these signs.
