Fucking pissed off! Had a walk out and the amount of litter in parks etc is fucking ridiculous..

I've seen it reported in the news and it seems even worse than before.

What's wrong with people, why can't they take it home? After all they brought it there initially

Should be made to work in a landfill sorting through the waste for a year. Or something

yeah, grinds my gears lol, i thought easing of lockdown and people getting out would have more respect for the places they visit.

Not just the parks, if you look or walk alongside roads in the countryside, masks seem to be the biggest litter. Given what many are made of, they will be visible for years to come, dug up by archeologists who will be able to pinpoint the exact year they came into use.

Absolutely makes my blood boil. The selfishness and utter disregard for anyone else or the surroundings. I would love to just follow one person home, clock their address and then in the middle of the night absolutely fill their garden with as much rubbish as I can feasibly fit into my car and then post a note through their door explaining why it's there.

Trouble is we moan about it.

As soon as someone tries to do something about it... Like police enforce it... Or new laws to refine the offence.. Or try and educate the children not to do it...

We moan about living in a police state and losing freedoms and what's more important...

We have people who basically don't give a shit about keeping communal facilities pristine.

Zero tolerance is the answer but....

Even if no covid it is still discusting, heavy fines should be inforced for this as well.Rubbish increases the risk of rats and other virmin and is a danger to health and covid makes it worse.

We need a special force to deal with these people they should be punished with community service see how they like picking it all up.

I feel this justifies a greater control and enforcemebt by the state. It is why most of the western world has done so badly with controlling covid and will continue to do so.

Are they not linked to the virus?

Didn't see them littering everywhere before it struck.

Doesn't take you much to be awestruck does it?

Seen the news about that

Someone said the councils should do more to tidy it up

The council didn’t put it there the public did

Councils are pushed to the limit as it is with out

Dickheads making things worst

I thought it has to do with respecting the environment after being restricted in places to visit. Why do they go somewhere to enjoy being outdoors then bespoil the very place they went to appreciate /enjoy getting out to??

In this area the council appointed Kingdom as an enforcement agency. They worked daytime (the majority of the litter is left of an evening when the gangs of teenagers just walk away from the beer bottles and chip wrappers and nitrous oxide canisters), so to meet their targets they were basically stalking smokers, waiting for them to drop a ciggy butt so Kingdom could fine them.

They were hugely unpopular and didn't actually improve the issue.

Every morning this week the residents here have had to go out and collect the litter, knowing full well that the kids would be back in the evening to drop more. We have a PSPO on the local green space (put in place because we had massive issues with the same antisocial behaviour and d*unken brawling last year), but unless it can be enforced more effectively it's useless.

couple, us we him her.

I'm not going to hold back.

People who litter are cunts, no excuse for people to go anywhere and leave rubbish.

If bins full take it with you you lazy fecker.

If you are going somewhere and you know that you are going to be making a mess take some fucking bag's.

I think heavy fines and community service should be levied on anyone littering regardless of age.

Start handing out criminal records and making people pay.

Problem is police are too busy trying to catch speeding motorists.

If I was in charge I'd chuck the fuckers in jail.

Yes jail for littering.

I think there's an apathy surrounding local authorities and enforcement regarding fly tipping and litter. 3 weeks ago I saw a taxi driver dump 3 bin liners on my lane. I got his registration and the company name. I phoned environmental services. They said it was difficult to prove unless I had actual filmed footage.. So I opened a sack and the thick twat had left addressed envelopes in the sacks. I put the stuff in the boot of my car and drove three miles to the house. The taxi was outside the house I just tipped the sacks in his front garden. Hr didn't even come out just watched me from the living room. Scumbag
