"From the 12th April or they available to work from the May date.. have a back that requires pulling apart. Knotts galore.."
"Proper" ones have been able to work in this lockdown, the one I see every 8 wks is working from home as the sports centre is closed. |

Actually they haven't been. Chiropractors and physios have been but only with consultations first.

"I get one every week or two all through lockdown they have been working "
Quite possibly, but the local multi-discipline place which has physios still working have said masseurs haven't been given the go ahead yet. That's Scotland but I'd assume its the same in England. |

I have a sports massage every week . Been using the same therapist for 14 years even through this last lockdown. For insurance purposes they can still treat clients for pain. I have to do a health check to include contrary indications plus do the track and trace everytime I go.
OP give one of your local therapists a call it can't hurt. |

Depends what their qualifications are and what governing body they are registered with ... technically massage therapists haven't been able to work throughout this lockdown but sports therapists have been able to. Chiropractor s and physios were only shut for the first 3 months of lockdown last year then haven't had to shut since as they are medical |

The place i go for a sports massage (for my constant pain) has been closed throughout the year. They have a room in a gym, that has also been closed for a year. |

Actually they have. My friend was involved in a serious accident in September last year and has had regular physio treatment and before a consultant and both were independent from each other
Podiatrists the same |

No, I wasn't. Googling the industry Covid guidelines for massage therapists should clarify it for you. |

Podiatrists aren't working near me. I self referred, my GP gave me the info to do this, and have been sent a letter saying that due to Covid they aren't working. |
