I think we all need to get our heads around that this is the new normality , mass vaccination is now going to be commonplace, and the sooner we come to terms with it the better |

What do you mean by new normality?
Mass vaccination has been normal for over a century. It's how we got rid of smallpox and why most of us have no personal experience of polio, mumps, whooping cough, measles, etc. |

Wasn't it already? MMR, TB, polio, smallpox etc. Over the years the mass vaccination have all helped to eradicate diseases....until anti-vaxxers got into social media and fucked things up with their bullshit! |

Polio does. There is vaccine derived polio, but it too can be eradicated by high enough vaccine uptake. |

The disease Polio caused the problems not the IPV.
My father in law succumbed to the disease but luckily didn't need calipers.
It's mainly only seen in the elderly or in very poor marginalised societies.
Thankfully, almost eradicated due to excellent vaccination programmes.
