That they are trying to trace with the Brazil varients has been narrows down from the whole country to 369 houses in the south east.
they obviously filled out the online home testing form incorrectly upon returning the test and so the positive result couldn't be delivered.
At least they are now contacting every household and hopefully that person will have stayed at home!!! |

The chances of that person having stayed at home since arriving are just about nil. Give it a week and there will be dozens of cases and it will spin out of control.
Just another reason why no-one should have been allowed in or out of the country. It might have upset some but it will help save more people than it will upset.

This is a sample that has arrived at a lab without the persons details filled in correctly. Nowhere has it been said that the person has been abroad.
That box of chocolate covered nuts I have left over from Christmas has the word Brazil on it but it doesn’t mean it came from there. |

Thats the problem with the media, it leaves unanswered questions and people are left to make their own assumptions...
Personally I hope they did come from abroad as it means its not just general community transmission |

Even if that's true, if the person came into the country before the quarantine started, how would test and trace know it was that person if they hadn't filled in the form properly? It was an at home test, nothing to do with border control or coming into the country. |

Staying in the country would have meant I couldn’t work and provide for my family
Are you offering to pay my mortgage and living costs ?
I’m classed as an essential worker
But I hate that term as I’m sure to 99% of the people their job is essential to them in being able to live. |

I don't know the sequence of events, I don't really care, I just hope they track the person down. It's pointless deciding that it's somehow related to 'not knowing who's coming into the country'. The only person at fault is the one not filling out the online form.

As they don’t know who the person is how can you say which flight they traveled on. |
