I have found the supermarket was packed, the roads are mega busy and also loads of walkers/cyclists around. Maybe it’s the sunshine bringing everyone out?! Certainly doesn’t seem like lockdown anymore

surrounded by twinkly lights

Its not just you, the sun has finally made a decent appearance and the breakout has happened, i'll just be glad when people can mingle and that will naturally dilute the crowds a bit, the queue to get into b&q today was huge

How so?

I was wondering whether that feeling is just a lightening of the mental load that people have or whether 66 million people just all got up and went out because of the Plan.

I have just returned from a car service and it's very much the same where I am in terms of people out and about.

But a friend says it's busy where she is.

Another friends says she couldn't really guess one way or the other.

Same here. Lots of people out and about but all social distancing. People keeping apart in shops and being polite and friendly moving out of the way.

Supermarkets no change but I feel they are letting too many people in.

Yeah was double busy out there. Took my horse out for a hack. Full squads of kids out playing people socialising in back gardens groups out walking

Etc.

Nice weather and a perceivable end in sight has brought out a little complacency IMO.

Our local beauty spots have been very busy. Our local village has been flooded with people from out of the area. We don't think many people are following the rules anymore.

I agree. A quick look at my FB updates tells me that loads of people I know are traveling out of the area

Mr KC took The Small Child to the park early doors this morning but came back by mid morning when he said it was too busy. Spent the rest of the day in our garden and I can't say IVE noticed anything out of the lockdown ordinary here. The biggest issue round us is large groups of youths congregating at night and fighting each other. One was stabbed the other week and nearly died. The Police issued a dispersal order, not sure how that helps more than "you can't meet others indoors or outdoors (apart from 1 person for exercise)."

Manchester (she/her)

I live near a pub and I've not heard it sound like the pub was open in a long time, until this week.

I don't think it is, but people are congregating.
