There's no point in replicating what is written here, but there is a qualified opinion on the range of vaccines and their rollout.

The summary is that you should get vaccinated. Whatever is offered in the UK will be safe, but perhaps 100% UK vaccination whilst the rest of the world waits is not what we should be aiming for.

It's an opinion.

Who do we make money from?

Will we be increasing our foreign aid?

It's just on the news atm weirdly. They are saying it won't be until the end of 2023 that the global population will be vaccinated

Interesting read. Utterly irrelevant to anything here though. Ta

That's a long time and lot of death, sadly.

I doubt that there is a right answer, but it's at least worth understanding the consequences of success here.

Absolutely.

(It's also a lot of potential mutation)

Hopefully a good balance will be struck and the developing world will be helped out of this.

I don't necessarily think that is the expectation.

14% of the global population has 53% of the vaccines.

Such is the world in every sense, but it's quite stark.

That's the problem in many ways 100% vaccination here, but high infection and mutation in the rest of the world could mean on going outbreaks and vaccination.

There has been a lot donates to the Covax scheme and the USA has now stepped up again.

It will be hard to widely vaccinate worldwide, but perhaps prioritising foreign medics over the local youth?

The end of 2023 will be an interesting time. The Conservative Party unless they have a General Election between now and 2023 will be committed to a General Election by December 2024. Now the Conservatives rarely go to the full term of five years. Remember the Profumo Affair Christine Keeler and Harold Wilson. The Conservatives hung on for the full five years but could not hang on to power. And Mr Wilson got in with a very slim majority in 1964. Labour had been out of office since about 1951. If the Conservatives are going the full five years they will start electioneering in December 2023. They like to hold General Elections usually in the merry month of May when the sun is shining, hopefully. Theory is the sun gets people out. If a General Election is to be held in May 2023 the electioneering will commence next year! In May 2022. So watch for the signs. Let's see the psychologists put the sweeteners on this.
