No but if you look at the date of the 21st of June it's quite interesting. If the vaccine roll out continues at the pace it is, you are looking at the vast majority of the 9 priority groups will have had their 2nd jab by then. At the moment 93% of all hospital admissions are in those 9 groups. | |||

" There will always be a risk of catching covid from now on vaccinated or not. But there is also a risk of catching flu, hiv and so on and so on. In a nutshell there is a risk to everything, even crossing the road. So when everything is back up and running it will be an Individual choice if you want to attend clubs, meets etc. We for one will definitely be back at clubs as soon as is legal to do so. Let's hope everything goes to plan and the dates are realised.. but atleast we can now see the government wanting to get the country back to normal and thats the most positive news anyone has had about covid in like forever. | |||

Catching covid isn't a problem getting seriously sick with it is and the data that came out this morning is exceptionally promising. Can you clarify that 1st paragraph?"well just now rates are just as bad as the absolute worst we were in wave 1 so to jump into opening up they must know something is different from last time we arent going to gain herd immunity in the next 2 weeks before schools open so it can’t fully be about the vaccine so the next logical conclusion would be they know we have those current rates because we don’t have the nearly 100% compliance we got in lockdown 1 , but rates although high are still going in the right direction , so if we can cope with non compliance then we can cope with some easing of measures - like if kids are mixing with their oaks anyway might aswel do it in a classroom kind of thing (just an example not suggesting kids are to blame for current numbers) i dont think in explaining very well written down though sorry maybe like lockdown 1 a lessening of restriction took interactions from 5% normal times to 25% normal times so we had to wait til the numbers were very very low but lockdown 2 we start at interactions of 15% so the jump to 25% by easing isnt as large so they feel confident to go sooner (random percentages just to demonstrate my thought process) i have no idea if any of that rambling from my head makes sense sorry | |||

I haven't a notion of taking whatever vaccine I'm given... I'll choose. I've no medically conditions & even if I did... I'll request the most effective... Which is Pfeizer Vaccine apparently. I'm in no rush. On lockdown since last March... Just with my social bubble

I don't choose any other medication I'm prescribed, I don't see how this is different. (In fact some medication I don't even get the same brand in the same month).

... I'm accepting any vaccine that's passed the stringent standards that the UK and other medical authorities require for medical treatment. It's not like I'm taking any old shit that someone cooked up in a basement. They all work well. (And if no Pfizer are available by the time they get to you, what then?)

Even though the government have announced they are seriously considering vaccine passports to be allowed into certain venues?
The words were they are reviewing it, but it is a complex issue and we cannot be discrimatory to that cannot or choose not to have the vaccine.

Or who "It may do for those that have been vaccinated but for a lot of people who have had no vaccine or only one dose it is going to be a very dangerous and difficult time.
