"I think it is good, especially for the economy "

You will be disappointed then because the economy will not be opening up just yet, that has been made very clear.

It Is expected the announcement will give us an idea when schools can start opening to more pupils and people being able to have contact with others outside.

Shops and hospitality are not expected to start opening till mid April.

Not here

On BBC website now,

It would appear that schools are returning on 8th March and also,

8 March - two people can meet outdoors for a coffee or to socialise

29 March - two families or six people can meet outdoors

29 March - outdoor sports like tennis, golf and team sports will return

couple, us we him her.

Many will just see this as a green light to do whatever they want.

Partially lifting partial restrictions seems pointless.

It should be all or nothing.

People are just going to go nuts once a wife of lifting restrictions is given.

we drove 5 minutes down the road to a local reservoir for a walk.. it was car park carnage.. just decent people trying to escape the madness.. luckily its a big place so we only saw a few people in close proximity... as long as you do it with respect and quietly.. escape

Central

It's appropriate that we should have a planned progression from where we're at, so that people get greater certainty about their future. It's not total certainty, just some detail, rather than a void.

We failed before by rushing out of lockdown (not to mention being to slow starting, which meant that each 1 was avoidably longer and tougher), so I hope that we are now adequately cautious. It's better to have a shorter pain now, than greater pain in the longer term.
