Proper solid lockdowns. Proper on the spot fines for not following lockdown rules. Named and shamed among mates and the locals for being a dick. Now.... Fucking love it!

The main outbreaks have been in Melbourne and figures have been high there, you could place the UK on the Australian map and it would cover a tiny part of it stopping the spread there has been done by its geography more than the people! |

There is a large minority of the population within Australia that are against the Vaccine and are very against the idea of having to be vaccinated to allow them to carry on what most of them are doing already. Part of this reluctance may have come about because Australia hasn't really suffered the loss of life that we have in Europe. So they don't have the same feeling towards the opportunities that will afford us in the near future.
However it will bring home the need for it to allow them to travel abroad.
My brother and sister in law live in Perth WA and their lives have hardly been affected. It was a massive deal for them 2 weeks ago to go into lock down for 5 days. |

Have a Russian friend lives in Moscow that is all up and running too... big populous too... so cant use that excuse.. I asked how it worked so well and they had tags on isolating people.. Jail time if you broke curfew. Her words were nobody dares break the law here.. Putin does not suffer fools |

The Isle of man have done well and shows how an Island should manage this covid...border close and now every one back to normal no covid...no masks, during their lock down any one caught breaking the rules went to prison...Hardcore take on it but has done the trick.!! |
