Posting on the 'virus' section has highlighted that people can be passionate, small minded, open minded, challenging, intellectual and quite provoking...
I for one like that!!.
Can the people at Fab set up a "discuss" section where we can just let rip and discuss things albeit, some will get petty and heated, but give it a try.
I just can't go back to the world of...

I get what the op is saying. Theres a politics section,a virus section.
But what we need is a topical news section that is not related to the above.
And it you post it in the lounge...people in there think it's the wrong section...and shout it down by saying the lounge is for fun only  |

You can ignore them but even debates get hijacked, I'm up for being challenged on anything I post, I will give as good as I get but it nice to get some real debates going.  |

There's been a few 'debate' threads in the Lounge since Lockdown 1.0 but not as many as last year.
I used to start debate style threads because I find different thoughts and opinions interesting. I think I've only done 1 in the last year.  |

I must admit it all seems very shallow and pointless posting on who's got best ass and so on over the past 12 Months.
But it's also for many a welcome distraction and a way to escape what's happening.
So it's not doing any harm I can't see it as an issueas for a all guns blazing no holds barred section ,that will just lead to chaos and childish insult's.
Let's leave that shit to Facebook shall we. |
