Difference one between Australia and the UK. The UK government are letting people go. The Australian government are not.
Difference two: in Australia, self isolation is not an option when you arrive from overseas. It's managed quarantine or stay the fuck out.

There's a big difference between the way Covid hit Australia and the way it hit the UK. They are such different countries and circumstances that you can't compare the two.
Although at least Melburnians have been given a clear end date for their lockdown and a road map out of it. |
