My business is in lockdown. I haven’t been a key to work since before Christmas and I’ve no idea when I’ll earn again.

I’ve been offered sex 3 times this morning!

It pisses me off that selfish idiots who are ignoring lockdown are partly responsible for this situation.

If they follow the rules then we will all get back to our lives faster and safer.

Anyone else frustrated by this ‘I don’t care’ attitude?

If they aren't breaking rules on here, they will be breaking them elsewhere. Some people are just very selfish, but its not worth getting worked up about.

My neighbour had a birthday party for her son last week. I came home to find her massive trampoline on my side garden as she 'had to make room for a bouncy castle'

You could barely move for he guests cars.

I hold my hands up and say I was fuming. Nothing I ( or you) can do.

part of me gets the whole if they don’t do it here they will do it somewhere else so let it lie attitude , only for the reason that its exhausting and its probably better for peoples mental health to not have the stress of paying attention to it all the time

but the other half of me think why should we just turn a blind eye “for our own good” or from lack of being able to do anything

at the end of the day they are breaking the law and all of us are indirectly suffering the consequences so its not like it has no impact on us

if you had a spree of break ins and car thefts in your local area would you think awk if they didn’t do it here they would just do it somewhere else or would you be on at the police and your mp to get crime down in your area before your house is next

ill probably be likened to the stazi or whatever they were called in a minute and i haven’t actually grassed anyone up for anything but the more. think about it the more i think why do we think its the right thing to passively sit by and watch people act in ways that are detrimental to society, as other members of society it actually is our business

OP here....

1) I’m bisexual and YES all the offers were from blokes.

2) I understand that this is just my point of view but having lost my best friend to COVID & my income & livelihood, I am perhaps extra sensitive about this topic.

3) and this is to some of the rather rude direct messages I’ve had....

Feel free to make your own decisions but I’m more likely to believe the scientists than Karens, Boyfriends, Neighbours Nan who also thinks the vaccine includes a 5G microchip.

I’m sure Bill Gates is desperate to know when you are out on the lash and when you are in Farmfoods stocking up on chicken nuggets!

I really dnt know why people get so uptight about people asking to meet. Its simple. I just say oh so you are an anticholinergic. Great hope you find another its not me. Report and block. End of the conversation. We cannot stop anyone doing what they want to do. You have your own mind and know what is right. I stopped getting upset months ago as all it was doing was aging me and making me depressed. Do what you have to do for yourself and your family to stay safe. The others well cant do anything as they will do it themselves. Get infected spread it and say it wasnt them. If we don't meet these people then we are fine. So deep breath think of better times. Thank the Lord you are alive and get on with life the best you can
