Hug and kiss my children and grandchildren.
Go out for a meal and drinks with friends.
Visit my sister in Milan.
Go on holiday with friends.
Basically, the life I had and took for granted a year ago.

Hug someone close again
Go out for a meal and beer with friends
After experiencing the terrible ' lows' of living and working alone with no family for a year. Find a partner and explore the world again together.. Enjoy the touch and feel of being intimate again with someone . To be close enough to feel their breath and heartbeat and enjoy the feeling of warm flesh against mine for the first time in ages .
If that happens? become monogamous for the rest of my life I should think ..

Family bbq in the garden, all the grandchildren running around having fun, kids and partners enjoying drinks and chatting.
Getting back to my place in France and resuming my restoration work that I'm now 12 months behind with. |

If and that’s a BIG if, it ever happens then would just like to get back to a normal life, meals out, catch up with friends and a bit of retail therapy to help the shops to get back on their feet again. |

Couldn't agree more but with an added overnight in the middle of nowhere |

Thankfully we managed 3 long weekends and a 10 day too in between lockdowns last year.
Let's hope for an early start to warm weather again like last year. |

"When covid has gone and it’s safe. Does ‘anyone think that day will ever be declared ?"
I believe that one day we'll reach sufficient herd immunity through vaccination to resume our normal lives, more or less. |

Exactly! What a daft question. ‘When’ COVID is gone ?! Where is it going ? "
The same place as measles in the UK. |

It may be a daft question, but for the love of christ, do we not have enough doom and gloom? Let people think positively. |

It won't be 'gone' for generations. It's something we'll have to live with, like other viruses. At some point restrictions will ease and meeting others will be decriminalised, but it isn't magically going away. Literally all the leading scientists say this. |

For me I would love to meet a bi m/f couple and also have a m/f bi couple around mine to watch, not exactly being inundated with potential interested parties though, hoping they will pour in once it is safe. |

Exactly. Where OP do you think Covid is going? It’s here to stay and at these levels possibly for years |

Covid-19 and all the restrictions associated with it has wrecked my formerly full routine.
It is an interminable nightmare that I know will take a few more years to resolve, but it has provided lots of time for contemplation, reflection and reassessment.
I got the Pfizer jab last week and the after effects have been noticeable but mild: joint pain, headaches, swollen glands, muscle pain, nausea, etc. |

All of this for me too....apart from visiting your sister in Milan as that would be weird. |
