"I always do that as you never know if the one you wear breaks, it might happen before you go into a store, so you have to get home again, by having one with you saves time too "
Personally, I don't purposefully carry an extra. I have a cloth mask but keep a pack of disposables in the car. |

"I have a cloth face mask, that work provided us with.
I have a homemade one in the car." I see some are now pushing for all cloth and home made masks to be prohibited in shops and only medically approved ones to be allowed. Its going to be very expensive to be able to go shopping shortly

Always carry a spare mask in jacket pocket, along with a pack of 5 masks in the car.
Also have a bottle of sanitizer and a pack of anti bacterial wipes in the car. |

I have one in every coat pocket, one in my dog walking bag, a few in my handbag, a few in the car.
I always put the elastic of one round my wrist as soon as I get dressed too, and just tuck it up my sleeve. |

I quite agree it won't happen.
Medical grade masks are needed elsewhere. |

Haha same! Masks everywhere!
But I always have spares cos I’m clinically trained so the thought of using the same one once you’ve removed it freaks me out haha x |

Pardon my ignorance, and this is a genuine question, but are you supposed to wash the reusable ones after every wear? |

i think you are meant to but i usually treat one trip outside as one wear and then wash it ... if i walk to the supermarket and get the bus back i would put the same one back on for the bus, if im handling it by the ear straps and using sanitiser it feels safe enough for me (side thought thats just occurred to me i wonder why they dont actually prompt people to sanitise their hands getting in busses when they know you will touch the seats and handrails etc
also life hack for anyone that has to go somewhere upsetting (i took 4 masks to a funeral today as i knew they would get soggy) .... a clean folded tissue placed inside the mask against your face is an excellent tear catcher and saves you lifting the mask to dab your nose every few minutes |

I've always got a face mask in my handbag but I've not needed to wear any mask recently as I've not been in a supermarket since September. Online shopping is so much safer! x |

Unfortunately I can rarely get a slot and we're asked to reserve for the clinically vulnerable.
I'm quite happy with my ziplock bag solution. |

Wouldn't say after each time wearing but depends on how often used so if used each day of the week say example working if change half way through the week and place the spare filter which comes with it the ones I bought you got two masks and four filters

You need at least 2 so you can wash them surely? |

I’m wearing a masked singer type one... people have to try and guess who I am when I’m shopping as I gently sing showtunes whilst dad dancing down the aisles.... is that Ross kemp they say? And I smile to myself grab a ginsters and I’m gone... |

Try click and collect. I've founds those slots are much easier to get than deliveries in my area. You still need to travel to the supermarket, but don't need to go in it. |

That's ok thank you.
Mine are the 3 layer Costco ones. Super comfy to wear.
I was wearing one to do a supermarket shop, then hanging it up in my car and using once or twice more for the same before washing it.
I have loads of spares though so will start using one just once before washing. |
