There's always a margin for error for want of a better description with liquid medicines. Think of it like the Speedo in your car which reads higher to allow for margin of error. They are able to use this margin for our benefit though. There's no conspiracy, this is a good thing. |

Didn't suggest for a moment that there was a conspiracy. But there is a danger that some will get a sixth full dose and others won't get a sixth full dose.
Not all people who are giving vaccinations are medically trained. |

They wouldn't give the 6th dose if it wasn't the correct amount. |

If it is possible to get every last drop from the bottle to make up an extra complete dose, then fair enough. I would be happy to defer to the judgement of medical professionals in this case. But if this became a politically motivated policy to _always_ stretch an extra dose from every bottle, then I would condemn it.
Funnily, I think it was about a week ago that I noted somewhere in the forum that it would only be a matter of time before our wonderful government decided that the vaccine should be stretched further, and would mandate that half or even quarter doses be quite adequate for giving to the common population. |

Doses are drawn up by pharmacists not people who aren't medically trained. Some vials will have sufficient for 6 vaccines, others 5. |
