No. I have had both my vaccine shots but I am still following restrictions and have no intention of changing that.
I am actually fed up already of getting pms from people claiming they have gotten the vaccine and thinking it's okay to meet. Not to mention the fact that a lot of them are lying anyhow and haven't even had the first one. |

It's not about the data, it's about how a vaccine actually works. The whole point is that it teaches your immune system how to respond to the virus. This means that if infected, your body deals with it quickly. You don't get as sick, or stay infected (or infectious) for as long. Consequently the rate of infection decreases along with the load put on the NHS.

It's not about the data, it's about how a vaccine actually works. The whole point is that it teaches your immune system how to respond to the virus. This means that if infected, your body deals with it quickly. You don't get as sick, or stay infected (or infectious) for as long. Consequently the rate of infection decreases along with the load put on the NHS.

Because it isn't allowed. That's why not.
They are not sure yet if the vaccine helps to stop transmission or if it simply protects the person whose had it from getting seriously ill.
All social distancing and mask wearing etc is still to be observed. |

We should assume that we can still get infected, once we have been vaccinated but that our risks of death and serious illness are reduced. Thus making no assumptions that we won't become infected, as trial data didn't show that.
People are still bound by the same legal and moral obligations whether they had it or not. They are still able to form support bubbles, for example.
The vulnerable who are vaccinated are more likely to have contacts who are vulnerable too, so they carry a burden of responsibility to help to protect others, to keep the infection levels as low as possible.
We will only contain the problem by personal sacrifices of our freedoms. |
