There seem to be so many more status updates looking for physical meets during this 3rd more serious wave of the pandemic than there were in the first lockdown. We are getting so many more messages from people still meeting or wanting to meet. Has anyone else noticed this?

Definitely, get three or four blatant requests a day, plus those asking if we’re meeting after a few more general questions. Have also noticed that most of those asking us to meet are black or Asian, two of the most high risk categories of people for the virus; we block all of them, but asked one why they were wanting to play at this time, he replied no one but us three need know about it and that anyway, everyone was ignoring the rules............

We have not noticed it’s confined to any particular group. It appears to be across the board.

I think anyone meeting anyone else for social reasons will contribute to the spread - utterly selfish and has far reaching circumstances.

True story parent of a child went to a party end November ..... covid caught, spread to child spread to class, spread to school - school closed due to lack of staff, staff members husband died of Covid last weekend. Direct consequence of mothers need to party.

Anyone that still meets and risks their own health as well as others is just a moron. How stupid can some people be to not see that covid can kill. My faith in humanity has disappeared

I bet most are blokes though and even if the profile is for a couple i would bet its the bloke who is messaging.

Whilst a lot of my messages are not a direct meet request the implication is there and they have all been from blokes and the overwhelming majority are within the 28 - 45 age group.

If its older blokes then they are usually not getting any sex at home.

What a stereotyping opinion. The people advertising and asking are all ages and of all status.

Terrible and I'm sure not a unique occurrence. They may as well have walked in with a knife. Trouble is because its a tiny organism nobody can see they don't see it as a deadly weapon. It would be manslaughter if done with a knife.

Someone mentioned on a other thread, we seem to have lost intelligence and proportion, wanting legal definitions of everything but unable to use our brains to stop spreading this bastard virus.

it's comical how any thread that criticises meeting gets removed suppose it's bad business if there isn't a glimmer of hope for meeting lol.

There was a Twitter page with people’s fab profiles on sharing pics of those asking to meet with their face photos if they had them or phone numbers it was called covid spreaders exposed or something like that . It’s been taken down but I’m sure it can spring up at any time. Wasn’t just people off fab had snap chat , Instagram and other sites as well .

As if covid19 gives a shit about your ethnicity. Ever asked yourself a question why these people are yhe most affected.

The undertone of your post is silently loud on race card and that exactly is the reason you got a response.

A lot of these people work in the health and care sectors. They go into hospital wards to look after sick people both covid19 and other illnesses. They take this virus home and the family gets infected. I lost an uncle this was back in April.

Attributing the spread to BAME people asking for meetings on here sounds strange. There is no data on how wany blacks or Asians or whites asking for meetings or spreading the virus

We all should just get sense and act responsible.

I’d semi disagree with you . My one mate who has died and the other who is 35, fit n healthy are , were in the one case sadly , both black as black. And they are the same health / wealth / social profile as us . It’s worse for black people in my experience

There is definitely ‘something’ .. I know about ten elder lies that have had just a ‘bit of a cold’ whereas I know of the same number of fit and healthy 20-30s in hospital ......... something in our genetic make up makes the difference. It’s to coin a phrase ‘Russian roulette’ to try and guess how you would fair.

Traditionally played with a six chamber revolver.

If the first five firings had not spat out the bullet I doubt you would have the balls to fire the sixth if you were the sixth player.

Swingers get slagged off for lots of things, lets not go down this route for people asking for meets, they probably wouldn't get them anyway as most people are sticking within the rules

Again, report please rather than start threads on it
