"What interesting side effects have you found?
For me, face masks and strong menthol/eucalyptus throat lozenges do not mix unless you like a vaporised eye bath of the ingredients "
I found that with spearmint chewing gum. Certainly makes the eyes water a bit.
Also whilst chewing on gum the mask moves about a lot more. Im thinking of putting some velcro on them so they stick to my stubble. |

I do and feel a right nutter i have allways done that long before covid"
So did I
But its seems a little pointless when I have a tight fitted FFP3 mask on...hence why I feel a little stupid doing it now! |

"That it is now more socially acceptable to fart in public than sneeze. "
Strangely enough, a week before the first national lockdown I was having my new glasses and a lovely young Asian girl said to me, we used to cough to hide the sound of a fart, now we fart to hide the sound of a cough. |

Not necessarily a side effect, but my inner monologue has become my outer monologue. For some reason my tongue thinks my mask is a voice filter.

Haha, not yet, but that does remind me of the scene in Only Fools and Horses when Rodney is trying to be cool to impress a girl and throws his cigarette butt out the window and forgets the window is still shut. |
