That as well but more so Facebook apple went and took a blow to Facebook and showed everyone what Facebook can look at and what they allowed to do with ur data

Believe it or not installing Facebook gives them the rights to everything including bank details

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

Just had my jab this morning, the BioNTech/Pfizer version, and am browsing through the list of side effects to see which one will come first.

The follow up injection is booked for early March.

The jab was done at the local hospital as part of a package deal, had heart monitor fitted also this morning.

Mine done 2 days ago, no side effects so far, not happy it's 12 weeks to second jab when all the scientific data and trials were base's on 3 weeks.

I understand the reason is to have more available for first jabs but without the scientific backup there is concern it may make it less effective.

No. It will only be if you are in one of the priority categories it does not entitle the whole family.

No. It will only be if you are in one of the priority categories it does not entitle the whole family."

The first 4 category which are being done first are-

Care home restaurants and staff

Over 80's, frontline care and medical staff.

Over75's

The clinical vunerable (shielders) and home carers.

So if someone in your household falls into category then yes, of not no.

Mainly the over 80's, care home staff and NHS staff. The top 4 categories covers about 15 million people so it's gonna take a while.

Would be good if they could get the manpower to give vaccines 24/7. The quicker vaccine programmes are administered the more effective the exercise is.

That's the plan I think.

It was tricky with the Pfizer vaccine because of how it had to be stalled but now the Oxford vaccine seems to be available that should really ramp things up. The plan at the moment is to have the majority of the top 4 priority groups to have had a least the first jab by end of February

Then its the over 70's and over 65's and high risk people under 65.

Anyway you have both implied the people are either uneducated or stupid if they choose what goes into their body. As long as they have a vaccine I don't mind which one may choose to have and I certainly wouldn't insult them for wanting a choice.

Ah, so in your opinion, all patients in Darlington are stupid?

Why make stuff up..that no one said,?

I absolutely deed because hes quoted it.

He said all patients in Darlington are stupid.

No one said that.

No one has said all patients in Darlington are stupid. The word 'all' was not used.

I know

However, nitpicking again.

Maybe try not making stuff up then that no one said?

Right..so you were wrong then?"

I was absolutely not wrong there are 3 people on this thread mocking people for choosing what they put in their body it is those people I am referring to as judgmental.

Anyway I think you've got a bit caught up on this I am not going to engage with you about it any further.

I’ve just watched the local BBC news, there was no mention of any numbers of people in Darlington refusing the German vaccination and instead waiting for the English one, other than it was a ‘small minority’

Total non story.

I agree. Yes I'm sure a few people have said this but actually bearing in mind the majority of people that are being offered the vaccine at the moment are well over 80 it's hardly surprising they are a little bit suspicious of the Germans. ( before anyone has a go at me it was clearly tongue in cheek so I don't need your judgement)

So what makes it a story? If it’s 2 people? 5 people, 10 people? or maybe 12 million people as you ludicrously claimed in another thread?

Do you not think there will be others in other parts of the country doing exactly the same?

Covid freeeee.......... otherwise riddled!!!

Actually, I am now thanks, I had it back last year. Still suffering a few longer term effects though. So yes I am covid free, but definately not 'riddled' as you put it. Your comment on my post bears no relation to what was posted either, can't really see your point tbh.

My point being that while you’re chuffed to be getting the jab, you clearly don’t seem to give many f**ks about your sexual health, which is ironic given the fact that you’re chuffed to be getting the jab!

Its the OP getting the jab!

I think that is a disgusting comment you really don't get to comment on people's sex health.

Yes we do. Dry your eyes.

You are being offensive and gone totally off topic and it's probably time that you stopped you are being ridiculous.

Well, I find people who bareback and spread disease throughout the swinging community to be offensive. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

That is your opinion but you were having a go at the wrong person because it wasn't the OP.

I’m clearly having a go at the OP, it’s the other person’s misunderstanding!

But you quoted that person so it wasn't a misunderstanding. When you were given an answer rather than correcting your mistake you just had another dig."

Nope, they replied to an original quote I had on the op and misunderstood it assuming it was aimed at them.

I hope the OP gets his jab and so do the others who want it.

Think a lot of over 80s are waiting for theirs.

Me mum hasn't had hers yet.

Hopefully it will be ramped up next week."

I have 2 friends whose parent is 80+ and slipped through the net because they don't answer the phone to withheld numbers. The roll out is so frantic that some GPs aren't necessarily following up with a letter. Just marking that patient down as 'unable to contact'.

Now might be the time to tell elderly relatives to answer every phone call... We've trained them so well to avoid scammers, that it means they're missing out on the jab!

They probably will with the Oxford vaccine but the problem with the Pfizer one is it can only be stored for a really short period of time before it has to be used so I think they just needed to get people in quickly and not time for letters.

Did they chase it up?

I've been telling mine to nag the dr but they keep saying she is on the list.

The problem is like I said there just isn't time with the Pfizer one. When my partners mother had it she only had 1 days notice. And iv seen people comment on here Saying that they have had a phone call saying can you come now.

I think they will follow out when they have the Oxford vaccine because that is stored a normal fridge and for longer. Like I said earlier the is nearly 15 million people in the first 4 priority groups so its frustrating but we all need to be patient.

My recent Pfizer jab was based on a phone call from local hospital offering me the vaccine as I would be in the hospital for a procedure in two days time. Needless to say I accepted the offer partly based on the fact that Pfizers Viagra had served me well in my 70s so the vaccine could well do the same in my 80s.Only time will tell.

"I’ve just watched the local BBC news, there was no mention of any numbers of people in Darlington refusing the German vaccination and instead waiting for the English one, other than it was a ‘small minority’

Total non story.

What makes it a total non story exactly?

So what makes it a story? If it’s 2 people? 5 people, 10 people? or maybe 12 million people as you ludicrously claimed in another thread?

Do you not think there will be others in other parts of the country doing exactly the same?

Erm..you were the one you said it's a nom story.

Considering the fact that it's actually happened..I'm curious to know why you deem it a "nom story?

I’ve just explained above. Keep up!

No.

You haven't at all.

You tried some sort of deflection but you havemt said why it's a non story.

In your opinion?

It may be happening in.other parts of the country..it may not.. its irrelevant.

Fucking hell, it’s like talking to a 5 year old!

It’s a non story because the numbers involved are obviously minimal.

Surely there is no need to resort to swearing."

Tbf, like lots of members. They think swearing intimidates people but IMO, once they need to swear, thryve lost the argument

Made by the same company.. If Pfizer can raise the dead, it can certainly help the living

"Patients in Darlington have refused the Pfizer job saying they want to wait for the 'English 'one.

Can’t educate stupid

Ah, so in your opinion, all patients in Darlington are stupid?

Why make stuff up..that no one said,?

I absolutely deed because hes quoted it.

He said all patients in Darlington are stupid.

No one said that.

No one has said all patients in Darlington are stupid. The word 'all' was not used.

I know

However, nitpicking again.

Maybe try not making stuff up then that no one said?

Maybe people should stop being so judgemental!"

Or say people have said something specific when they didn't

O o O oo

So before I close this thread , what I am going to say applies to a few people.

The posts I removed were posts of people arguing about something that wasn't even aimed at them and then lots others join in, if people had read the posts right they would have seen who they were to.

There was also a lot of arguing over a word that wasn't said, once realising it wasn't said maybe accept that instead of keep arguing.

Discussing another persons profile is not allowed

Finally, if someone is annoying the hell out of you, just ignore or step away from the keyboard
