Did I miss hear Boris today. I thought he said that kids were thought to be the vectors of Covid transmission, and later he said that kids might never receive the vaccinations.
Surely kids should be a priority for vaccinations after NHS Staff, and vulnerable 80-year olds if they’re the vectors of the disease.
Teachers should be done too! |

We said this on a thread the other day, the most vulnerable and most mobile should be vaccinated in tandem otherwise when lockdown is lifted it will just spread again within days. |

Vectors move the disease but aren't necessarily actually particularly affected by the disease. The vaccine doesn't stop a person getting infected, it just stops them getting ill with it because antibodies are there from Day 1 to immediately fight the disease.
Neither vaccine in use has been tested in or approved for kids. BioNTech/Pfizer is 18+ and Oxford/AZ is 16+.
There's no vaccine for children right now anyway. |

Roger victor vector, sorry had to get that out of my system.
I don't think Boris has a clue, they left him alone over Christmas and he's 3 weeks behind on the science.
He'll be up to speed in about a week. |

It's inhumane to vaccinate with a product that has not been tested for safety on children. It hasn't been tested for efficacy either, so could be pointless.
Tf the adults are treated, we prevent them becoming very sick or loss of life. Hospitals are freed up and the economy is better able to function.
If infection levels decrease again, even children getting infected should reduce. It may largely for this smaller group be similar in severity to other common childhood infections. |
