"Rules, not guidance, needed and should be applicable to all.
But they are applicable to all. "
Are they working though? It seems like we are closing things off that don't really affect transmission numbers (like leisure centres) but not tackling adequately other places which do (like schools and certain places of work)?
Do we need a rethink of strategy?? |

Agreed.
I'm struggling to believe that supermarkets aren't a bigger source of infection than some of the other places that are shut. |

11,000 in Meadowhall last week and people queueing for an hour to get in, kids in schools running around passing germs around like sweets yet someone in (stupid) tier 4 can't come out into a lower tier? Absolute madness! Wuhan is back to normal with no vaccine, tens of thousands of people attending sporting events in Australia and New Zealand yet here we are with sheep walking around in the open air with masks on! It's like the Walking Dead out there, people will believe anything they're told. |

They can start living there life’s again because THEY ALL followed the rules , unlike most here , quite simple if we all did this back in March April etc we wouldn’t be here now , it’s not rocket science, if we didn’t mix , it would have no where to go and die off |

I'd take China with a pinch of salt tbh and as far as New Zealand and Australia are concerned it's all kicking off Australia again by all accounts and New Zealand were a whole different kettle of fish to most other countries with their population density and location. Take a look at UK as a comparison, mainland is fucked whereas the thinly populated islands such as Orkney, Isle of Man etc are in reasonable shape. It isn't just down to folk not following rules, that's far to simplistic imo. How many other countries are in exactly the same boat as we are compared to the small handful folk hold up as shining examples of what we should've done? It's easy to point fingers at house parties etc but fact is it's people just merely going about their business who are spreading it whether it be school, workplace or shops and stopping mixing in these sorts of places is alot easier said than done. |

It’s all guesswork, you would have thought by mow we’d have good data showing where, how and when it spreads but we don’t. We still don’t have accurate testing, a large proportion are either immune or asymptotic and we don’t know why. Some huge gatherings NYE on the Gold Coast where there is zero COVID will be interesting to see if it starts there again |
