December 28th for the Oxford one.
The easier to manage & distribute one.
Talking of using football stadiums to get it going fast.
I think things will start to feel very different soon.
Fingers crossed |

Fingers crossed, but I unfortunately think it will be at least Easter time until the vaccine is making a noticeable difference.

This because I even the people that has been vaccinated already won't actually be fined protected till the middle of January so it will take time. |

All the vaccines that been announced so far require 2 jabs, a month apart. On that basis absolutely no one can be said to be fully vaccinated until at least 2 weeks after a second jab. |

And then the unvaccinated can mix with out systems with the non vaccinated so it can spread even quicker as I think I'm right in saying if vaccinated you can still get it and pass it on. |

"If we vaccinate 100,000 a week it well be 13 years befor we get enough done.
If we vaccinate 100,000 a day it well be 2 years befor we get enough done.

There are 15m flu vaccinations given each year over a 3 month period. That's just over 1m a week. So, assuming the oxford vaccine is ready at start of new year, those administering the flu can spend the next 9 months vaccinating about 40m people. Add in a load more medical professionals into the mix then the whole of the uk could be vaccinated in a much small timeframe. |

But what has that to do with price of fish because nobody is talking about relaxing restrictions anywhere near yet. |

Sigh ..... If vaccinated you can still get the virus but the viral load is likely to still be small when your immune system wipes it out therefore you won’t have enough virus in your system to get ill or pass it on. Why don’t people understand thjs?
People who choose not to vaccinate themselves are playing with the unknown as far as how virus contracted from a vaccinated person will affect them - You reap what you sew. |

Did not say I would not get vaccinated as I will just think for me it's a long way off 2/3 years befor it's offered to me.
And it's going to get worse befor it's going to get better..

"They said they are trying to hit a million a week , bob hope of that and then you need booster in 31 to 28 days after , they cant do tests that quick let alone vaccinate , only 138,000 people across the UK have been vaccinated against Covid-19 up to now in a week a far cry from a million "
So at that rate with booster should be all done in about 20 years |

Probably because they are intelligent and have researched the subject.
People who have been vaccinated can catch the virus, but no expert is sure whether they can pass it on or not. There are far too many variables to make such a claim, sigh all you like but it does not change the truth.
It is just like the safe sex myth that a person cannot catch a STI if they or their partner uses a condom, they can and do! |
