No ... the first one was ok and clear.. along with the sun..
The second one is a shambles .. to confusing and plus it’s cold dark and wet ..
we are a social animal and to much isolation can send u mad .. even if they opened the pubs and made us stay outside, it would be something .. and I’m not a sceptic to say the virus isn’t here, it is... but people are starting to lose the will |

Absolutely.
If figure that if my grandparents spent 6 years on a war footing during The Blitz, with rationing, military service, deprivation, getting bombed out and seeing neighbours blown to pieces, etc, then I should be able to handle sitting at home watching Netflix and eating ice cream.
Of course, it does help having a job which can be done anywhere with an internet connection, but even when I was off work for over a year many years ago, I thrived fine with dial up internet (28.8K!), books, TV, libraries, music, games, etc.
1 year, 5 years, 10, never : Makes no odds to me really. I'll adapt. When your choices are limited to non-existent, you can either fight yourself or go with the flow.
We are not all programmed the same way.
The "Humans are social creatures and must have social contact" isn't true for everyone. Some actively avoid it. Others like me are ambivalent to it.
I've often thought I Am Legend with Will Smith is a really cool movie, and could fancy myself in the role if need be (minus the dog and other spoilers)

"How long would you be willing to stay in lock down for? Could you do it for another year? "
I'm certainly not enjoying the current situation, however I am fully prepared to put things like my hobbies on hold till we can get a grip on a global medical emergency. |

Yep I could do it for another year if I had to.
No, it's not great but moaning and bitching about it doesn't make the virus go away. |

"How long would you be willing to stay in lock down for? Could you do it for another year? " but we havent been in lockdown at all really....
Perhaps that is the problem. Even the first "lockdown" compared to other countries wasn't that restrictive.

I completely agree. As humans we are not "designed" to be isolated and not to socialise with others. I have to go to work every day but I can't have a life away from there. I've starting to get really jaded about the whole sorry mess! |

You’re not alone. I also think the tide is turning when it comes to an appetite for lockdown. The cure is now more severe than the disease and is making less sense day by day... |

A lockdown wouldn’t bother me and it would be better than the daft T3 restrictions currently in place, can’t drink indoors oh don’t worry the pub will serve you drink and you can all congregate on the pavements instead; what shops closed, none that I can see, when did Lego and M&Ms become essential? |

Most people are fairly reasonable and will typically accept reasonable demands being made upon them. We won't, nor should have to, accept any demands that are not reasonable. Just because some or many can shoulder a burden, doesn't make it acceptable for them or anyone to have to do so. The toll this year has been levied upon some of the most vulnerable in our society. Funny enough, many of the same who disproportionately paid the price of the austerity sanctions.
During lockdown 1, in a heatwave, many people were confined without access to open spaces. Many have paid disproportionately this and former years. We should not expect to impose further harm on all, until we know the wellbeing of those who are less fortunate and most vulnerable. We should mitigate harms done to such people, where possible.
We probability now need measures that are more tailored than the clumsy large Tier zone restrictions. Lockdowns may be needed but proof should be given that they were enacted as early as needed and potentially thus for the shortest time needed too, unlike first 2.
There should also be a plan, which we largely have not seen provided with. We currently just have a vaccine hope and Christmas free for all and that's about it.
I think most people would be harmed by 6 months of near solitary confinement. We must do everything that we can to keep us far away from that |

I think I am.
I'm a bit of an introvert and though I like being around others, I don't feel any need to be, and sometimes have to fight myself to go out and socialise. Even then I sometimes just sit with my mates and listen to them talk.
So, in a way I think I've been lucky as lockdown hasn't really affected me.
Not seeing people hasn't bothered me that much (it's more the fact that I can't rather than the fact I haven't if you know what I mean) and I can work from home, which I love as there is no commute, so I've saved money and I see more of my kids. |

The country can't take anymore of it. It's not the being in lockdown it's the long term after effects. |
