If you could get hold of these rapid 20 minute tests - and you wanted a meet - all tests negative- would you play ?

Just curious- it’s not a request it’s just theoretical xx

Probably wouldn't play. As either one of us could be carrying the virus on our hands and clothing, so even tho the tests are negative infection could still occur. But, if a dog was trained to detect the virus on/in a person, I'd definitely think about it

Not at the moment, whilst prevalence is high. There's still a risk of people having just caught it, before it's detectable via tests. Plus the fast tests don't have amazing accuracy levels.

It it was incredibly rare and I knew the person, I'd consider it more reasonable as an extra precaution. In future, many clubs may use them, if accuracy is improved, I'm guessing

People are wanting to play regardless of testing. My inbox and phone won't be any different from others. There are far too many people wanting to, with absolutely no regard.

I dont understand why people are still insisting on being able to party ?

behaving like children because they cant get their own way in some cases too .. why cant people just wait ? this will end eventually but it stands a better chance of doing so if everyone stops trying to cheat the system .. stfu at home as the YT man says

Really? No surprise at all. Why do you think it's struggling to be under control? Too many think rules are for finding creative ways of getting around, much like this hypothetical idea.

A reflection on how serious one takes the virus is seen in such activities. These same ones also love to point the finger at those who get caught too.

Much like a certain footballer who apparently is sorry. Yes he's sorry he got caught not sorry for drink driving. If he got away with it he'd do it again guaranteed, he still probably will until he's banned from playing for a whole seaoson

unpaid.

"Second question- proof of vaccination- would you play even then ?"

Having the vaccination do not stop you carrying the virus in your nasal passage and passing it on to others. Fact that's been reiterated repeatedly by many virologists and even our government health ministers have said, 'were not sure' when asked directly. Usually this means we don't want to come out and say this yet, most likely because its not a good time as they roll out the vaccine.

Also what to stop someone making a copy to show anyone who asked? It's not as if you're going to check up on some data base available to you is it?

"Do they do rapid tests for HIV "

I don't understand the relevance, but in fact, yes, there are rapid blood tests for HIV that will give you the answer immediately.

However, HIV is transmitted through blood and as long as you're having protected sex it should not be an issue. Whereas Covid is airborne and you can get it whether you have protected or unprotected sex.
