Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

"Im totaly fed up with driving me crazy who els is out their in the boat?"

I think everyone is passed off, it feels like at least 5 or 6 more months until things may start to get back to normal.

Dunno about the boat comment though, ain't it a little bit nippy to be out in the North Sea at the moment?

Yeah sure, it's not been the best of times but making changes to how we'd like to be is important and not too big of a sacrifice to get life better in the fairly short term

It is beginning to get me down. I hope to be vaccinated soon but still think it will be ages before we can relax and live life the way we once did.

Realistically, masks and social distancing are going to be a thing for at least another 6 months. In the event of numbers rising again, lockdowns will still be deployed.

That said, fuck everything about this year.

Nothing will be as it was. It's been very tough for some for others no so. We all adapt and adjust our life style as we all do in any change in situation or circumstance.

It's what we do with it and how we respond to others that determines how we cope and adjust. For many fab won't be the same either.

Not at all.

I feel quite ambivalent to it all (apart from very sad and reflective that its harmed and killed many tens of thousands of folks in the UK, and millions worldwide, and left others in desperately terrible dire straits).

I count myself lucky, and prepare for another day and whatever it may bring.

The quicker people start ignoring it and "living lives" instead of "saving lives" the quicker the government has to respond to reality theory instead of scientific theory.

Make no mistake here, these tiers will be throughout 2021 with nationwide 3 in october/november regardless of cases.

This is not conspiracy.

This is reality.

No I asked you a simple question

You said politicians have took away our freedoms and I simply asked what freedoms will we not be getting back?

Went Xmas shopping this evening. Struggling with masks at the moment.

Hats off to those workers in all sectors who have to wear them constantly.

Be glad to see the back of face coverings.

I’m stalled of it all too, you don’t know what to listen to or what not to listen to, all these different things going around in my head , with been a kidney transplant recipient I’ve got to shield , I’m doing online shopping but when you want to see things , because you don’t know if it’s the correct item you need , or having to rely on parents or friends but then it makes me feel like a user .

Things like:

Wearing masks that renders identification by CCTV useless?

Social distancing which is breaking the country financially?

Why on earth would any government on the planet want to continue this any longer than they need to?

The degree of 'control' exerted on us is more akin to stopping a baby playing with a Stanley knife than it is a worldwide plot to subjugate humanity.

Yes very true, all infants should have freedom to risk self harm. Ohhhhh hang on a minute... Is there an analogy here?

With the way things are going at the moment and the Christmas break coming I think we are in for a very hard time in the first two or three months of next year and don’t see us getting back to anything like normal until the end of next year. Even that is likely to depend on the uptake of the vaccine, if enough don’t have it sadly we could be living like this for a few years.
