"She is not getting fined but 2 students in Nottingham who hosted a party were fined £10,000 each. Where is the justice in this?."
There is none... I agree with the venue getting the fine, they should have refused the booking (although they probably made more than £10k that night), but Miss Ora should also get fined |

"The restaurant is getting fined instead for hosting her party £10,000
Dreadful. I think all her guests should be named, shamed and fined too."
She will have agreed to. pay the £10k fine, it’s nothing fir a bday party, and not actually a fine it’s civil enforcement , it’s like a parking ticket, not a criminal offence |

I think breaking covid rules in these circumstances should be made a criminal offence.
The restaurant should be fined.
Rita should be fined .
All the guests should be fined.
It's a blatant rule break and not acceptable. |

I don’t think she thinks she’s above the law, she didn’t break the law, she made a choice and the restaurant owner made a choice, they will pay the parking ticket within 28 days or appeal it it’s no different from gyms that were opening and members paying the tickets for them on crowdfunding.
And as already mentioned, she’s hot. |

No justice but what did you expect.
I'd appeal against any fine by placing evidence in front of the court asking why police did not take action when the law was clearly broken.
Also I would ask the court is this fine in the public interest when celebrity's who can afford it get away from it.
Must be grounds for appeal and violation of rights here. |

It’s just a poxy fine for those that can afford it. Maybe all those recently unemployed could become patrols on the streets and make sure everybody is doing their bit. Each household could have a designated grass for those flouting the rules and keep a check on you neighbour to your left! |

It's the venue only which holds legal responsibility.
Strangely, those who left their home for anything non-essential, ie work, health care, shopping etc, would also be breaking the law.
She would do well to renege on another year of income, as she'd been celebrating her birthday, which would fit. I'd say the same for a friend.
Staff, taxi drivers and all other contacts of the many people there could spread the virus to many other people, killing people down the chain.
Utterly despicable. Everyone knew we were in a lockdown. No excuses. |

No remorse either at all from the looks of it.
Posts an apology on insta stories so gone after a few hours.
Not a single trace on any of her other social media accounts of any apology.
Once it gone it's forgotten attitude.
Even if all attendees were fined 10k, sure Rita would pay it for them.
No doubt she made half a million or so on the latest iPhone advert to be able to cover the costs of the fines.

Would you also forgive her if she ran down and killed a little old lady whilst driving her car d*unk, so what's the difference, if a member of staffs grandmother dies because of an infection caught serving these pratts. It may have been several days, before the lockdown ended, which makes it easier to understand that we fully were in the lockdown and that we all knew what was not permitted. She could cause a number of deaths, sparking a chain of infections that continues.
After 3 weeks of lockdown she had zero excuse for not explicitly knowing the full scope of what she could do outside of her home. As bad as drink and drug driving, without a licence and insurance |

It really is. Best bit is. She was meant to be isolating when she had her birthday party with her family and friends.
I’m sure a lot of us have had birthdays in either lockdown and had to stick to the rules. I know I have and my wife and kids.
We all wanna get back to normal but think about others before ourselves.

Total disgrace!
First she holds her party for up to 30 guests during a national lockdown.
Then days later its reported she's raging that she was grassed up and is investigating to try and find the whistle blower in her friends circle. (Not the act of somebody who is sorry!)
Finally she had been and done a gig in Egypt and returned home needing to isolated for 14 days as per the rules instead she breaks this by organising the party just days after her return.
I'd love to know what her NHS working mum said to her.
Also the young student was fined over 4k for breaking 14 days isolation early. Surely the police will be doing the same to Rita.

But what on earth will it achieve. The ones hosting and inviting people in should be held accountable. As they have in both cases. |

Dinner at a restaurant with around 10 people all getting smashed and singing. Then back to his house where they held a surprise birthday party for him with loads of his family and friends all waiting for him in surprise.
All brazenly player out on Social media. |

They are celebrities and it sell news when they are caught out. No one is going to buy a paper or click a link 'Karen on Facebook has had 8 friends around" are they.
Typical media, although I don't like the way these some called celebrities and role model sports stars go about like they have a every right to party or carry on like the world is normal. Sure they apologise after but they must know better, they just don't care.
