If you think that we are being controlled by the state you should try being in Spain or Italy! We were in Spain at the start of lockdown. After a couple of days we needed to go out for food. It's about two miles to the nearest supermarket, by the time we got back we had been stopped at three guardia road blocks, on the first two occasions we explained we were on the way to get food. On the third occasion we explained that we were on our way back home having been to the supermarket. I was then invited ( at gunpoint!) to show them our food purchases.
Since returning back to the UK our friends who live in Spain full time have told us dozens of similar stories.
Be very thankful, we have far more freedom here than we appreciate. |

Alcohol loosens inhibitions. Venues with people inside who drink alcohol are a potential issue. Wales has taken a crude harsh step to help to protect their people.

Wales is not banning the sale of alcohol.
You can buy as much of it as you like from the supermarket and are perfectly able to drink yourself into oblivion in your own home. |

Our Sainsbury's has taken over half the fecking fruit aisle with crates of booze. Couldn't get bananas but could buy enough cheap lager to induce a coma. Show me a Saudi Arabian supermarket like that!

But...off to a public stoning this afternoon and then into one of the last pubs open, apart from all the others.
Then I'll complete my track and trace, log on to my government tracking controller (mobile phone)and then get a government authorised watcher (taxi) to drive me home.
Tomorrow, back to forced punishment and indoctrination building (work).
