So we have heard the mainstream conspiracies, I'm not interested in them.. boring!
I want to know the conspiracy theory that only you believe (and probably have just thought up); the really oddball out there ones that even the hardest conspiracy nutter would have a hard time believing..
Just for fun, so please keep it inoffensive as this is a bit of a raw subject for many. |

I believe that this virus is so easy to catch that you only need to get within 6ft of someone that has it yet it needs a swab inserted past your sinuses or so far down your throat that your piles itch to detect if you've got it or not. |

I'm not mocking the virus, I'm mocking the conspiracies that have helped fuel the virus spread by filling the heads of the easily led with misinformation and untruths.
I have lost two friends to covid and also been extremely unwell with it recently myself..
I suspect I caught the virus while on a tube train travelling home through London on a Sunday evening.
A number of protesters got on the train (homemade plaquards were the giveaway), none of whom were wearing masks or respecting distancing from others..
It was the only time I spent in contact with anyone outside of my family prior having symptoms 4 days later and subsequently testing positive, so does narrow it to that point.
I was wearing a mask, but as we are told, masks are worn to prevent you spreading the virus, not catching it..
I hate to think how many other people they may have infected on that train or while out having a bit of fun protesting about their misguided civil liberties..
So no laughing matter but making light of others stupidity should not be an issue. |

I heard this one that they mass tested 44233 people on Liverpool of which 249 came back positive.. The test is 99.6% specific so 4 in every 1000 tests are false positives. That means 176 out of the 249 are FP. So total covid positives 73.

Well we recently found out my hubby was positive so we now ha e 14 days stuck in the house
Some people would love this but we much prefer to be on the go
Luckily he isn’t to bad but has been in contact with others at work so this is the result
Let’s just hope nothing develops

I've posted my theory on other threads, it's real, it's not some government, big brother, new world order agenda, a it probably isn't even a conspiracy.
But it is man made & it was released with a motive.
Just my opinion, but it's the first of many or maybe one big one next, get used to it.

What about false negatives? Remember its 99.6% specific so 4 in every 1000 test could be false negatives.Its not an easy sample to take so so there is a good chance of a mis sample which can only really produce a false negative. But even with your flawed maths that leaves an infection rate of 1650 cases per million which is higher than anywhere else in the world. |

I think the OP started this with genuinely good intentions
The virus is dark the times are dark we need humour its actually a savour of our humanity
I concur with the OP ridiculing off the wall conspiracy harms or should offend no one it infact as the OP suggests SUPPORTS and is empathic towards those who have suffered by laughing at those who technically have truly shown a disrespect and disregard for the validity of the virus

I believe it's been used as an opportunity to put certain things in place. Maybe not some of the crazy shit we've heard about. But its presented certain people and governments a window of opportunity to control the masses in a way hitherto unheard of before.

In a pool of conspiracies there's always some truth hiding in plain sight, you don't have to look hard in those muddy waters to see the truth either, you don't have to believe everything but those that choose to believe certain things and are aware get ridiculed for having that belief or that feeling and get called the tinfoil brigade etc.

Can't believe so many people still believe the government's bullshit, don't people check facts for themselves. 1,800 people die every day, if you're under 80 the survival rate is 99.995%, you can't protect your from a virus with a bit of cloth, but keep hiding and it will be fine. A year ago if you told me that restaurants and pubs were all closed, we had to stay indoors to save the world, and the hospitality, leisure and entertainment business were none existent, I would have called bs then.
Half the time I really don't know what's going on these days, I just do what I'm supposed to do, and try not to think too hard about it all. |

Well mine is someone, somewhere has looked at our future & decided maybe correctly that there are too many of us & on top of that we live in a culture dominated by the “Me” & not the “Us”.
So they released Covid, no conspiracy, no New World Order, we’ll none planned anyway.
Now whether the numbers are right/wrong whatever is less important than who the people are.
If you sit & think about who it’s killing in the main then start thinking of other effects/benefits if you are a Government.
But I think they are just byproducts of one or two people believing their vision of the future needs amending & they have tried to do something about it.
Maybe the ultimate climate change activist?
