I think everyone will be able to return to normality at the same time. When the infection rate has dropped to a manageable level then restrictions will no longer be required.
The Government won't just say... ok you've been vaccinated, you can do what you want now.

Things like social distancing and face coverings will probably remain in place until such time as everyone's been made eligible for and offered a vaccine...
....all those who've been immunised before others would still have the potential to carry and spread it, just with less risk of being affected themselves... |
