How to get through lockdown
Jump to: Newest in thread
"Has anyone got good ideas? "
Start a hobby.
Volunteering.
DIY/decorating
Learn a new skill.
Do Zoom quizzes with friends.
Enjoy time to relax.
Although, if you’re like us, we’re still working so nothing has really changed apart from pubs closing.

Structure helps. I'm working from home half the time and on site the other half but have recently put regular exercise back on the daily agenda and its making a noticeable difference.
Trying to get half an hour a day murdering the guitar too ... been learning for years but still a total beginner.

A structure of some sort I think - I am lucky in as much that Iam working full-time so that rpovides me with structure as everything else has to fit around that.
Gym, when possible and walking etc as well.
Making time (more time) to speak to mum and family as I am sure they are feeling lockdown as well.

Structure as said helps I think, voluntary if time etc..
Exercise and fresh air, nature is a great place to unwind from all this..
Staying in touch with family and friends..
Keeping positive that this like all bad times will pass.. |

Awesome that’s good to hear!!!
Back on topic, in fairness my PS4 has taken a bit of a hammering (as well as the kids Xbox and switch!).
Finding I was going back to get all the achievements on games till I rediscovered an open game that has no ending (No Mans Sky for anybody interested in the name), but just playing and exploring sinks the hours away. And I always find another task to do on it, another planet to explore or regions to discover.
Not for everyone I know but it suits me |

Plan your time. Include what's important and meaningful to you, giving you interest and satisfaction. Treat yourself too.
If it's not in there, regular exercise will help you a lot.
Spend time in nature which has been shown to be very healthy. Go to look, notice, experience and to be yourself.
Learn things too.
If you are able to communicate or meet with people, do so. Don't become isolated |

Last lockdown I was furloughed I spent a lot of time sorting my garden out, veg beds, painting fences etc. I done a few puzzles with my kids, took up yoga and made sure I went for a walk most days.
Working this time so it's different. |
