From the land of haribos.

One we know works in a restaurant, they saw an opportunity rather than to close it, they turned it into a mini food store, it is doing good and he is working in the checkout for the time being, it is all about adapting to the situation, what do you think of what they did? I thought it was a great idea, when times get better they will turn it back into a restaurant

I think those who can are adapting and those who can't are in an impossible position.

I think the efforts that so many even very small businesses have made to keep going are fantastic. Distancing, screens, PPE costs must be substantial when set against having fewer customers.

It's good that some of the smaller businesses aadapting, when some of the bigger ones are continuing to open, pretending to sell essential items. Rymans, Carpetland? and others have abused their positions.

Pubs that did food are still on deliver apps or click & collect here, as are many small businesses and independent sellers. All that is really closed is clothes / book shops and most of them have an online delivery service anyway

Charity shops are all closed which is a great shame for the charities who depend on the income from them.

Exactly the same for any shops forced to close.

It's difficult for any business that is restricted to open, some will adapt and survive, some will simply never open again. Being in the hospitality industry is hard enough at normal times!
