Not sure if this has been covered so apologies if it has.

As someone who suffers mental health i do worry about the negative effect a lockdown will have on those suffering.

No face to face meetings taking place, all being done by either phone or zoom.

For me ive only jist started to get out again. I have no family/friends local. And sure you have the emergency numbers to call if needed but thats jist not the same as chatting to a mate about day to day shit.

I'm.likely to.go the 4 weeks without talking to another person face to face and that is hard.

I agree it is very hard, dealing with isolation and losing social interaction. I am on my own and find it hard.

It's really hard I was ok until I lost my job a few weeks ago I've never had any anxiety before that and went through a stage I didn't even want to leave the house I can only imagine how people that normally suffer are feeling I'm single so it's hard being alone too

Sorry to hear about your job. I cam only imagine how much harder that made it for you.

As a long term sufferer its very hard amd living alone does not help it x

i also live alone, and its not easy, but there are ways around it, i walk in our local water meadows alot, find that brilliant, i know i shouldnt but i never meet anyone else, so not doing any harm, watch the birds and fish, very theriputic, i also speak to friends on the phone alot more than i did. its very easy to go down the depression route, but its also not that hard to find something to ocuppy the mind, it doesnt have to be other people. having said that, if anyone is finding life hard, feel free to message and have a chat, we are all in this together, chin up and look after each other xx

Trying to get out is the hardest part for me as I'm classed as high risk.

That said I did breach lockdown once or twice last time at 2/3am to walk round my local park.

Very kind of you to offer you ear, I may well need it during lockdown x

It's a perfect time to sit in silence.

With your self, in all its uncomfortable glory.

To understand the root of your mental illness. To understand where it came from, to understand your hopes and fears. To give it your full attention until your attention is free
