You can move it and not lose your deposit

You can certainly move it to when you want, subject to availability. You pay the balance when it's due. You are best to ring TUI to discuss your options, if you're uncertain about going

Central

Different companies are offering various terms now. Even if 1 I'd booked with was restrictive, I'd discuss it with them as they will probably still prefer a real booking that you can enjoy, whilst they enjoy your custom. Check their terms and then speak with them

It's tricky isn't it. It's your decision to make and I agree with what you're saying, so best to ring them to see your options, yes you may have to hang on the line. I found them very helpful when we changed ours. Good luck

Oh you are very welcome. It's difficult times for us all, isn't it? Not one of us knows what is going to happen, but I doubt this will be over by February and we all need a holiday! Stay safe..

I

I think 2023 wouldn't be doable simply as tui can't schedule that far in advance.

Even a credit note wouldn't cover you for 3 years so you may face cancelling with fees or changing location next year.

Be grateful you booked with tui though, dealing with virgin this year has been a real eye opener and it won't even end until mid December if I'm lucky (having waited 120 days for refund from them for summer holidays, I have no confidence in getting the £6k Xmas holiday money in this year)

Check the tui website, you'll find your options on there

Maldives is absolutely stunning ,the flight over the archipelago down to male alone is well worth the trip !

If you are entitled to a full refund I'd recommend cancelling and rebooking when things are more certain. You have to consider the travel restrictions and quarantine periods in both countries which is hard to predict. Maybe having the money in your pocket will give you more flexibility when you are able to take a holiday?

Have done ellado in the Maldives and want to go again.

But India if so chilled love that as well cash back would be fantastic or even just cut the loss and scrap it so long as I don't have to pay to get out of the booking...with TUI £500 Is hard loss but can deal with it for flexibility

Lol ... I’m not saying don’t go... yes delay to next year...or not but obviously if your trip/ holiday is cancelled due to booking whilst we’re in the middle of this ongoing shit show then please don’t complain because it was your choice after all to book knowing it might not happen. That said I hope everyone stays healthy, doesn’t lose £ and can look forward to holidays again in the very near future

Was supposed to be going to Brussels next week.

The game was moved to another city in Belgium and behind closed doors. Uk said no non essential travel, would have to self isolate for 14 days on return. Then yesterday Eurostar cancelled my train

Well looks like I better cancel my hotel

Well that’s unfortunate sorry to hear of your struggles. 2 years is a longtime in advance but the lucky thing is you live in such a lovely seaside town with everything you need on your doorstep! The Bingo and welcome stranger at silverhill, a host of quaint old town eateries, the crumbling majestic castle, fantastic beaches... why would you need to go away ???
