Just curious as to what happens when one reports a profile actively seeking a meet despite the sites no physical meets stance. Do they ban them?
We have reported quite a few on our north west feed as we are tier 3 and it's not only against site rules it's against the government rules.
However friends tell us the profiles we have reported are still on site although not visible to us. |

You won't get any feedback.
Best to report block and forget about it. |

They only block both of your profiles from contacting eachother.
That's all. |

I've reported loads. From what we can see, the site puts a block in between us.
Whether the sender is sanctioned or not, no idea. I expect they're on a watch list though.

nothing gets done to the profiles of anyone asking to meet admin just block you from seeing them so it looks like they have been kicked off when they haven't
We will probably get booted off for saying it lol
Suppose their take on it might be that we are all adults and there is nothing they can do to stop people meeting should they wish to do so |

I would suggest don't report simply block and move on.
It is not illegal to ask for a meet, some may be trying to ask for a meet in the future, when it is acceptable to meet again, without setting a date.
As long as they do not pester you, by multiple requests, there is nothing wrong with asking. |

Its against site rules though.
If they're talking about future meets when this is over that's different.
I'm still getting plenty of "I'm in a hotel round the corner, come to my room and let's fuck" style messages.
Report and bin.

As stated above its a waste of your time, block does exactly the same thing |

Thanks for the concern, it's my time to waste.
It's also what the site asks us to do to help them out.

Well the site has a specific covid 19 report option. |

I think all you can do is keep yourself safe,if they did ban someone they'd be back on the following day. |

Some people have been alone for 8months now and they havent even been allowed to do so much as hold hands with some one else if they havent got a bubble buddy so if two consenting adults choose to meet up for what could potentially be just a social with the view to becoming that bubble I think we can ignore there posts to meet and leave them to it without to much judgement, mental health is something that needs looking after just as much as covid rules |

I can understand that but it’s still taking a risk

I can't mistake a " free tonight" " got a hotel now wanna cum" " the virus isnt real"
So I'm getting lots of offers to meet now and not in the future.. |

I meet new people in life every single day, mostly through work
Life goes on, there is nothing wrong at all with meeting people as long as you have the common sense to be safe
visiting your doctor is a meet, you meet people shopping, getting on a bus, kids going to school
LIFE GOES ON. |

Admin investigate all reports and there's an overview that Mods often post, which covers what happens. It's worth searching for the same topic as you'll probably find it included.
They have a range of options, which may cover suspension of site features, temporarily or permanently or account deletion. Users may be issued a warning and it will vary depending on the situation, if there are other reports etc.
They always investigate all reports. |

Why bother reporting? There are countless "webcam" veris published by the site where a physical meet clearly took place. It's farcical |

I imagine if a certain number of people report the same profile for the same thing then they may take action.
I am sure the reporting option gets abused a lot from spiteful people so think how upsetting it would be if someone reported you for doing nothing wrong and you got banned.
Also the problem when they ban someone, there is nothing stopping them creating another account and doing the same thing over and over. |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.
Admin
PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
--
Your feedback has been saved.
A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.
By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.****** |

Because you see a block between you and another doesn't mean the report has not been seen and dealt with if needed. It is worth being aware that a disabled profile will also look blocked to you
Admin deal with hundreds of reports a day and must get real fed up of people complaining that nothing has been done when they have spent hours on it
The above post lets you know what actions happen to a report if anyone wants to read it |
