Vaccine volunteer dies WAS NOT given vaccine

It's great news that the unfortunate death was not a side effect, as it will allow the trial to continue without delay. Obviously we can't know if it will result in a potentially lifesaving vaccine but won't have to wait longer for the results |

It's not a complex idea. I have done a month long trial with astra zenecca and it was shoddy, it was a month after the 'elephant man'reaction case and they hadn't changed any of their practices. It takes over a billion pounds to get a drug to market and much research is buried or withheld if it effects the company's profits. There are shortcuts being taken due to pressures on staffing levels and the race to be first. |

Even with the Covid tests there us a 1 in 3 false negative, it is rational to not have blind faith. The best thing you can do is work hard at getting healthy and build up your immune system. Outdoors and exercise. They will come up with a vaccine but there will be some false starts, so look after your mental and physical health in the meantime x |

Exactly my point in the previous thread relating to latest announcement but people only read and extract what they want to hear or see without further digging, a piece of paper will absorb anything you’ll write on it - a 28 old from Rio vs multi billion company pressured by current pandemic situation and possible financial losses if things went wrong ... but since majority of people rely purely on the information fed to them by British media which by the way has been placed in the 10 most untrustworthy in the world (yes not far from Russia) then what would you expect. |
