And I'm talking to Fabbers (please) Not the Plans and Sarcastic Boris or Starmer or Donald Duck . . . ideas.
We were just discussing what plans we should make - to Go Away - to Hotel - to Stay home.
It's looking very likely that Venues will stay mostly shut. So maybe a quick jaunt into another country or even a night in a Posh Hotel . . .
Come on fabbers, give us some more things to weigh up and consider.

Cornwall seems pretty safe as cases are actually going down there, most of the South coast barring a couple of the big cities look pretty safe as well (I mean safe from lockdown), if the head of the Welsh assembly gets his way it looks like the border will be closed again so that looks doubtful.
Abroad is anybody's guess Northern hemisphere wise |

Gibraltar is always a good New Year. Short hop on a plane and Covid under control or thereabouts bar the odd spike in double digits.
On a normal year it goes crazy with fireworks and people coming together. |

"My plan is to stay at home , have a low key xmas and new year. Stay safe and hope this time next year is a better one."
Hope both are lovely.
We moved two main Holidays from this year to next. Cancelled 4 Hotel stays. Had 3 cancelled by the Hotel Groups. Managed to stay away 4 times. Done Alton Towers 10 times. Still have 6 booked.
We are staying home for Christmas but are determined to do 'something' for NYE/NYE day.

"Tenerife booked but putting on back burner costly sweve but hey ho, Blackpool now for us xx
Awww. Always gotta have a Plan B (and a C right now)."
Would have been our 10th NY in Tenerife, hoping to get refund for accommodation but flights unless they cancel will be our loss. But plan B will make up for it. No Plan C tho, hope not needed |

Been to a few hotels in recent weeks London, York, Cambridge, MK, everything is shit tbh, you just end up doing room service as going out isn’t much fun and if you do , the party vibe is outdoor and it’s getting cold.
Got a few more nights / weekends planned and looking into log cabins with hot tubs, or by the sea, something a bit different maybe |

A break can be good for the spirit, so there's probably tons of choice.
I'd hope the 10pm curfew isn't around for bars here. If it is, perhaps a jaunt overseas is called for. Probably lots of time to plan |

The last 5 years we've been at a club for NYE, it's hard to make plans at the moment though, as we don't know what we will or won't be able to do.

We normally visit some Scottish friends for Hogmanay. This year it will be me and my fella watching Jools Hootenanny and if he's lucky I might give him a BJ.
My fella not Jools |

"Going to local pub they normally have a disco but apparently that's canceled still having buffet and free fizz at 12 tho. "
How can you have a buffet in tier two ? It is table service only. Fizz at 12 ? I thought they had to close 11pm |

Well, i could meet up with a few of the girls, grab some food, a few drinks, over to the club, some dancing, have a bit of an orgy, say six to a bed, swap around guys and gals and in-betweens, champagne at midnight, then some one on one on one action, keep the party going until dawn...
But you know, that could all get boring. Maybe I'll just have a quiet night in, a mug of cocoa and a mince pie, fluffy cotton pyjamas, and retire under the duvet at about 11 pm |

I would check that Because as far as I know you still can't serve buffet food unless things are individually wrapped and it has to be table service.
Also I don't think they are extending the opening times past 11 even for New Year's Eve.
Might be worth double checking. |

Off for little hotel break with the FWB, he’s working away so I’m going down to where he is. Looking forward to it. I’ll be quite happy with an early dinner, a few drinks then see in the New Year in bed together |

We had a very basic cabin booked in Wales, hot tub, fire pit just the 2 of us, that's all we wanted, after a year full of shit. Cancer, death (non covid related), health scares for both of us. 4 cancelled holidays, almost going bankrupt, Covid has kind of become irrelevant however after today's announcement Wales isn't happening. So we're saying fuck it....... |

Derbyshire has been in Tier 3 for some time though. Will it be your local to somewhere that you are away at? Or have you advance news of Tier changes to be announced this Friday? |

Podcasts, audio books or the radio playing through good quality headphones is your friend here.
I will be at the bingo, home by 10pm |

I’m still getting dressed up, have a photo session, maybe a walk around the local area. Then a bottle of champagne for myself and get last year’s London fireworks up on YouTube. A film then bed (alone )
Not my usual in a club, staggering out at 6am with makeup running down my face, but maybe next year |

The last plan I had was to have a quiet night with all the family, then to get up super early NYD and walk up Moel Famau to watch the sun rise.
But as I tore my calf muscle a couple of weeks ago and the new rules on meeting indoors that’s not going to happen. So it will now be the kids and I |
