So as an out of interest more then a precautionary measure (don't judge) we downloaded the track and trace app from playstore this morning.
Pretty easy stuff, few personal details, phone number and turn on your location app.
Easy stuff.
30 minutes later Mrs gets an alert that she'd been in contact with 3 people on Thursday who had tested positive with Covid-19 and to book a testing immediately.
She hasn't left the house all week and only installed it today.....

Hmmm ?
I don't think that you have installed the right App - The NHS Covid-19 App doesn't ask for a telephone number
If the icon does NOT have the words covid-19 on the icon below the word NHS then you have the old app.
In Playstore Type 'covid-19' App. Do not use any other.

Well that's us with a problem then.
The OLD app that's irrelevant has alerted us to a place she's never been around people she never met.
Wonder what we installed then??? |
