1. It isn't good enough. Not enough availability...and it is patchy to say the least.
2. It is however better than most other countries. A friend in France (yes I know..."a friend"....but I have confirmed by checking a few French newspaper reports) has told me how much worse it is there. Takes 7 days to even bokk a test (average) 5 days to get results back (often longer) . Total test capacity is around half of that in UK (140000/day)
Yes we can improve but in comparison to other countries we are having a good try. Demand will always outstrip supply it seems? |

Would like to know from you friend did the French also spend billions on a furlough scheme and grants for companys meny that wiuld not make it and now on a job retenshion scheme.
Some of this money in my opinion should have been better spent on testing and test facility's labs and seting up making oure own test kits |

Not if we have great management competence in charge. It would involve planning, organising and getting resources on time, as well as an effective control of the virus numbers, containing them as well as possible. We'd not need as many tests and have enough of them |

In reality we need to find a cheap and effective T cell test.
We need to know if we have had it and display immunity to the virus.
Most antibodies disappear after few weeks. And immunity exists in your white/T cells. |
