Here's their provisional priority list:

Older adults’ resident in a care home and care home workers

All those 80 years of age and over and health and social care workers

All those 75 years of age and over

All those 70 years of age and over

All those 65 years of age and over

High-risk adults under 65 years of age

Moderate-risk adults under 65 years of age

All those 60 years of age and over

All those 55 years of age and over

All those 50 years of age and over

Rest of the population (priority to be determined)

I would imagine NHS and front line workers would be in the highest ranking too. It will be interesting to see what happens if key workers refuse it

Not sure but I did read that one companies vaccine is being tested on young adults. They are being vaccinated then 2 weeks later infected with covid 19. I wouldn't let my kids take part in that!

Yes that’s one trial that’s including the over 65s

The oxford phase 3 trial is all ages too and is looking for up to 50000 people globally so hopefully when they finish (all being well about Christmas) they’ll be a good number of over 65s

I'm all for that. Let's get fatalities down first. After that the spread of the disease is far less of an issue.

Well that's one bit of good news for me I am 5th in the list. I have already been informed by the nhs that when a vaccine is ready i will be in the priority group
