Exactly the same restrictions as the north east... with the exception of Blackpool....

Those other areas with the stricter measures will remain in place...

So you could call it lockdown lite.......so to speak

Because (in my opinion) it's a fucking dirty shithole that gobbles up the virus then spits it out onto the bed sheet.

Could be right lol. It is recorded at 38 cases per 100K, however Durham has a rate of 34 per 100K and is locked down, though it is a more desirable place to go

Because blackpool is a stag & hen resort, most of the people who would go there, have cancelled the wedding as they can't have more than 30 guests now.

Think one thing people miss about Blackpool is that anyone who visits and catches it there would be recorded where they live and not there

Exactly. In Ayrshire, we call this the September Weekend - it's quite often blessed with good weather - and it has been a tradition, for many decades, for a lot of people from here to go to Blackpool and party, before returning to work.

So, it will be interesting to see if Ayrshire and Arran Health Board has a noticeable rise in infections - related to this holiday - to deal with, in the days and weeks ahead.
