I guess the new rule of 6 outlaws hotel meets too.

So the idea of meeting at a club for a social and then back to the hotel room for fun is out of the window now, given the different households aspect of it.

I bet hotels will soon be legally bound to report any outside visitors to couples rooms too.

Welcome to North Korea.

Yes we are giving up fab, our last week here and the end of our swinging days, at least for the time being but maybe forever. There is no end to it

When hotels reopened in England we were only allowed to visit with people we lived with or were in our support bubble. It's largely similar now.

We've always been subject to restrictions on our liberties that affect our ability to do certain things, with penalties against breaking them, without resorting to being like a life under a dictatorship. We have rights, freedoms and responsibilities.

Op, you are in a period where there's danger for many and are being asked to curtail some things that you do in your life. You have moral backbone and personal flexibility, to be able to live using personal flexibility?

That option has been out of the window since 23rd March, so I don't know where you have been. The rules were always for social distanced groups of 6 not a free for all fuck in a hotel room. This country is nothing like North Korea, you would probably get shot there for having group sex in a hotel

It would seem to me that around 5 million people in this country are in the bracket for having problems from this virus, everybody else is by all accounts are not really effected by any substantial problems.

Wouldn't it be best to just shield that 5 million at home while the rest of us just crack on?.

Not a lot of point in finding a hotel room that is big enough for 6 people to sit 2m apart (if they’re all strangers) just for a chat is there?

Ffs. Get some perspective. Tens of thousands have died, untold long term consequences, some of which might be life changing, and being asked to protect people means no freedom of speech, possibly starving to death, and more?

People need some real problems.

Anyone meeting outside their family was letting everyone down. Including themselves.

Just because some people are selfish and don't care about anything other than their pleasure, doesn't mean we should do anything other than condemn it.

There's a crisis. Keep it in your pants.

Some people have already been locked up for more than six months and are suffering enormously.

And we don't actually know that the rest of us will be just fine. We're not at high risk of dying (that we know of, we're still learning about this virus), but that doesn't mean that more of us won't be left disabled.

And for those outside the 5 million - we want cancer treatments back, yeah? Cancer treatments which often cause immunosuppression? So... cancer patients need to be protected from infectious disease?

... or is this just "I'll be fine so fuck you" dressed up in yet another way?

I think some people should think more about Covid.

Do I wanna have sex, go to the pub, do other shit that is illegal at the moment? Or do I want to do my bit and stop the spread so hopefully we can rebuild the economy and get our lives back eventually, without an even more devastating death toll?

This isn't "stick a condom on and stop the spread". Your breathing puts others at risk. So you need to breathe near other people (who put you at risk) as little as possible.

You can be as close as you want as you catch it by coughing? Rules are mis read Boris said one mtr plus meaning no less than one meter not one meter plus a mask."

What was actually said was 2 meters where at all possible, if not the one meter with mitigation (ie mask, face shield or some other PPE).

Does the 2m rule apply in a hotel room?

Of course it does. You should always be 2m away from someone you don't live with unless there are masks or plastic screens when you can be 1m away. why be one metre away if wearing a mask? You can be as close as you want as you catch it by coughing? Rules are mis read Boris said one mtr plus meaning no less than one meter not one meter plus a mask."

The 'plus ' is a mask, 1 metre plus a mask

And still stay 2m away if you can.

The mask/covering is a mitigation not a magic bullet. Even N95s only take away 95% of particles (when fitted correctly, which they usually aren't outside medical settings).

"I guess the new rule of 6 outlaws hotel meets too.

So the idea of meeting at a club for a social and then back to the hotel room for fun is out of the window now, given the different households aspect of it.

I bet hotels will soon be legally bound to report any outside visitors to couples rooms too.

Welcome to North Korea.

That option has been out of the window since 23rd March, so I don't know where you have been. The rules were always for social distanced groups of 6 not a free for all fuck in a hotel room. This country is nothing like North Korea, you would probably get shot there for having group sex in a hotel "

No you would get shot for opening a post like that you would not even have to meet them.

"It would seem to me that around 5 million people in this country are in the bracket for having problems from this virus, everybody else is by all accounts are not really effected by any substantial problems.

Wouldn't it be best to just shield that 5 million at home while the rest of us just crack on?."

And how would you do that.

N99s which is our FFP3 masks here stop 99%...they sometimes pop up at screwfix for only around 10 quid for a box of 10

YeH we could make 5 million people stay locked away....or we could all act sensibly to buy some time. But heyho I know that's asking a lot of some...

So... cancer patients need to be protected from infectious disease?

... or is this just "I'll be fine so fuck you" dressed up in yet another way?"

So loved this post. As on your site go have a wank and save the NHS.......
