Okay. So. Who was planning on meeting up to 30 people on Monday anyways?

atlantisEVOLUTION. Stoke.

It's not like there won't be 30 people or more in the shopping mall with you - it won't be like there won't be 30 people or more at the holiday destination you are at right now (UK)- it won't be like there won't be 30 people or more on the same train as you . . . etc.

And anyway who was actually meeting up to 30 people Today or Tomorrow?

I see nothing lost right now, but so much to gain.

We are staying home this weekend, no shopping, no meals out, no cinema trips or bar. Going to finish our van pimp - hotub - cook a nice meal - watch a great movie - have great sex.

Don't think I know 30 people I'd want to spend time with simultaneously...

Yea. I suppose I forgot about the footy fans lol. But you can zoom meet and watch the game at home while getting the banter with the lads (n girls).

The changes are obviously targeted at raves and the student community start of term, hankocks rhetoric gave the game away.

I feel sorry for families who aren't going to be able to meet up. The rules don't effect me as 3 of my offspring live with me and my 2 who have visited twice since lockdown don't have children.

Also a shame for children who were looking forward to a birthday party. They can sit with their friends all day in class but not in a village hall or sports centre on a Saturday.

If controlling raves helps control infection rates don't see what the problem is.

But they can if the event is COVID secure.

And we as families are affected by this. We have two families of six who we can't now see altogether as we normally do at the weekend...

Let's be honest, it's not really possible to police a discreet family of 6 having 2 folks over in a private dwelling,

May wanna keep an eye out for them twitching curtains though

It's the twitching curtain brigade I'm worried about

I'm not affected. I heard the government were thinking of having a reporting phone number, to inform on people thought to be breaking the rules. I'm unsure if the new wardens would pop along, to provide guidance on the rules.

It's all bullshit. These restrictions make no sense. You can't meet with family more than 6, so you have to go individually. If we all go to the pub we can accidently sit on tables next to each other. They are so contradictory.

They're only contradictory if you dig around and find reasons for them to be.

Removing your contradiction would have been very easy - just shut the pubs, job done.

I'm sure many people wouldn't want that to happen.

" I'm unsure if the new wardens would pop along, to provide guidance on the rules."

There are only Covid wardens in Leeds and Cornwall so they must have huge areas of the country to cover.

I didn't realise Cornwall was badly hit. I must keep up.
