Has anyone else seen the announcement that these areas are now subject to a partial lockdown again from 15th September? One step forward,two back? It's been brewing for a while now so no big surprise and is only applicable to private premises. Pubs,schools etc can carry on? Seems an odd order? Anyone else understand this?

They are seeing the most spread between households that are mixing with other households in private residences, that's why they targeted the lockdown to houses.
